Monroe PD Reports: Several reports of aggressive behavior by female juveniles

The Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period May 11 – 17, 2018. Due to the length of this report it has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Suspicious Person, East Marable St., reference to complainant hearing a baby in the wall. Officer spoke with complainant and she was advised to seek medical treatment.
  • Suspicious Person, Walton Rd./John Deere Rd., reference to a male subject having a mental episode. He was transported by Walton EMS to Piedmont Walton.
  • Dispute, Rose Ison Terrace, reference to a dispute over a repo. Situation resolved.
  • Dispute, North Midland Avenue. Complainant stated that a female subject spent money on her Direct Express debit card last night without her approval. Complainant could not advise what charges female made or how much. The female stated she never spent money on complainant’s debit card last night and only used complainant’s card once two months ago in which she has since paid her back for. The female stated complainant has dementia and forgets things. The female did show evidence that she had complainant’s PIN number. Complainant was advised that more evidence would be needed to pursue further in the case. The female was served with a criminal trespass for North Midland Ave for one year. Report taken.
  • Damage, Property, Magnolia Terrace, complainant wanted a report for her son’s toy tractor being taken and damaged by another small juvenile in the neighborhood. Report taken.
  • Dispute, Breedlove Dr., Ridgeview, reference to a patient being combative.  Subject was handled by the staff prior to officer arrival.  Staff did not need police assistance.
  • Dispute, Landers St., reference to dispute between juveniles.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Carver Place, reference to a female threatening another female. One female stated this is an ongoing issue. One female stated the other female threatened to bring a knife to the bus stop in the morning, she was advised to notify police if any issue occur. Report taken
  • Loitering, Tanglewood Dr., reference to a large group hanging out in front of the residence.  Group was told to find someplace else to hang out.
  • Fraud, North Madison The Market –  Complainant said at 1500 hours. A female attempted to cash a check at this location that belonged to her.
  • Welfare Check, East Spring Street in reference to juveniles seen walking in the area without an adult, area check conducted with negative contact.
  • Property Retrieval, Southside MHP in reference to a subject needing to get the rest of his items from property. Stood by while he got items.
  • Threats, East Marable Street in reference to complainant stating subjects were coming to the back of her residence and wanting money, she stated she told them to leave and heard someone reply ok. She stated they were getting under the house. Area checked, negative contact with anyone on location.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Davis St./Harris St., reference to an anonymous complainant stating a group of guys were hanging around the area of Harris and Davis Street, the complainant advised dispatch she overheard the group talking about having a firearm.  Found a group negative on firearms and advised them of the loitering laws.
  • Follow-up/warrant Attempt, Green St., Uredia Crutchfield was located and arrested on a FTA warrant out of MPD
  • Suspicious Person, Meadow Walk Dr., reference to a male subject being dropped off at this address by Walton County Sheriff’s Offics. He has conditions of bond to stay away from this address.  He was gone prior to officer’s arrival.
  • Dispute, 4th St., reference to a male subject wanting to get clothing out of the residence and leave.  He got a shirt and left.  Situation mediated.
  • Stalking, Breedlove Dr., Ridgeview, reference to a male subject waiting for complainant to get off work. Complainant did not want him there and said their relationship just ended. Wanted male to understand their relationship was over and she was married. Explained situation to Albert and documented incident.
  • Wanted Person, Tanglewood Dr., regards to a male subject being on location with warrants.  Negative contact.
  • Suspicious Person in the area of 6th  St., reference to 3 male subject all wearing dark color clothing walking in the area, area check conducted. Several vehicles with open doors were located during the area check, one on 6th street and the other two were at Bridgeport and Bridgeport place, contact was made with the owners of the vehicles. Nothing reported missing from any of the vehicles, everything on location ok.
  • Pickup at Gwinnett County Jail in reference to Tiffany Holley with a warrant for Failure to Appear. Picked up from Gwinnett and transported to Walton SO.
  • Entering Auto, Victory Dr., Complainant advised an unknown individual(s) entered his 2010 Dodge Charger sometime between 2000 and 0530 hours this date, and took his Taurus 357 Revolver, LG Tablet and wallet.
  • Suspicious Vehicle Highway 78 East/Jim Daws Rd., reference to multiple calls about a White Ford Ranger failing to maintain lane. Officer conducted a traffic stop and Standard Field Sobriety Evaluations on driver, Andrew Scott Barnhart. Barnhart arrested for Driving under the influence – less safe alcohol and transported to MPD, then transported to the Walton County Jail where he was released into their custody.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Baron Dr., complainant stated that she missed her bus this morning and had to walk to a friend’s residence on Davis Street to get a ride to school. She stated three juvenile black females and one adult female approached her outside the residence. She said the juveniles threatened to jump her while the adult had a gun and threatened to kill her. She stated she ran and they chased her to the Chevron on East Church Street. Complainant advised she did not know the females.
  • Threats, North Hammond Dr., complainant advised a female threatened to assault her. Report taken.
  • Harassment report taken at South Broad Street – Monroe Police Department in reference to a subject in the lobby requesting to speak with an officer.
  • Mental health Patient, Highway 138 – Great Oaks in reference to the staff wanting to transport a patient to RidgeView. The staff was advised to contact a private, non-emergency medical unit for transport. All ok.
  • Theft, Gatewood Dr., reference to complainant reporting the theft of her son’s Xbox. Report taken.
  • Shoplifting, West Spring St., Connie Heard was arrested for shoplifting and a probation violation warrant through MPD.
  • Meet with Officer on Baron Dr., complainant wanted to add to earlier report a Facebook post showing a memorial for her as if she was already dead. Supplemental added.
  • Dispute North Broad St., Al’s Discount Tire. Officer made contact with complainant who advised she was having a disagreement over a price of a tire. Situation mediated prior to police arrival.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Alcovy St., Walton County Sheriff’s Office requested an officer check the area in reference to a dump truck spilling materials onto the roadway. Area checked with negative findings.
  • Civil Issue, Ridge Rd., reference to complainant giving his cousin shoes three weeks ago, but has not been paid for them. Complainant was informed of the civil process.
  • Fraud, West Marable St., complainant stated he received a fake check from a Manuel subject from Sherman, Texas. The check was placed into evidence. Report taken.
  • Scam report taken at MPD. Complainant wanted to advise that an unknown subject hacked his computer and attempted to gain his personal information. He advised he was not out any money and he had already made his bank aware.
  • Suspicious Person, Highway 138, reference to a male subject acting irate on the side of the highway due to his phone dying while attempting to call his girlfriend. Officer let male use a cell phone and transported him to Taco Bell to meet with his girlfriend. All ok.
  • Traffic Stop Highway 138/Michael Etchison Rd., William Todd Childs stopped for operating a vehicle while his license was suspended. Childs was arrested and transported to the MPD where he was fingerprinted and released on copy.
  • Found Property, Cherokee Ave., complainant state he located a black and blue Thruster Freestyle bicycle in his driveway. The bike did not come back stolen. He was advised to hold onto it for at least a week just in case.
  • Damage to Property taken at South Broad Street – Monroe Police Department. Complainant vehicle was struck in the Walmart parking lot.
  • Threats, Eagles Trail, complainant stated that while she was at the hospital earlier this date, her neighbor saw three black females in a white Infinity park in her driveway looking for her. Her neighbor over heard the females say they were going to beat her ass. Report taken.
  • Damage to Property, Davis St., reference to a hole in the complainant’s porch. A male crashed his 4-wheeler into the porch knocking out the vent under the porch. Complainant requested a miscellaneous report for her landlord.
  • Domestic Dispute, Harris St., verbal dispute between subject’s over social security and a cell phone. Situation mediated and parties separated.
  • Unknown Law, South Hammond Dr./Russell Dr.,located complainant on South Hammond Drive. Complainant advised he and his current girlfriend ran into his ex-girlfriend at the court house. He stated he called 911 to keep a dispute from happening and his ex-girlfriend broke his phone. He stated he did not want to pursue charges.
  • Follow-Up, Radford St., reference to missing juvenile. Juvenile still on GCIC as missing. Negative contact with anyone on location. Night shift to follow up.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Belle Meade Rd., reference to a white vehicle in the cul-de-sac, possibly using drugs. Area checked with negative contact.
  • Dispute, WCSO, reference to a female having questions about a  custody issue. She was advised of remedies.
  • Unknown Problem, Walker Dr., reference to a W/M and W/F, disputing.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, MLK Jr. Blvd., complainant advised a silver Honda Accord pulled out in front of her and flick her off. Officer had negative contact with the Honda Accord.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Harris St., reference to subject driving intoxicated in the area. The vehicle a white SUV was located in Young Pine parked and unoccupied.
  • Juvenile Complain at MPD, complainant wanted an Officer to speak with her juvenile daughter in reference to being unruly. All ok.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Magnolia Terrace, reference to complainant stating kids in the neighborhood were calling her daughter names, and stated a juvenile hit her. All parties were advised of remedies, report taken to document the incident.
  • Entering Auto, West Fambrough St., reference to Taurus 9mm handgun stolen from vehicle. Handgun placed on GCIC as stolen by Walton County Dispatch.
  • Juvenile Problem, South Madison Ave.,  The Cotton Mill, reference to juveniles on skateboards. Made contact with the juveniles, their parents are on location at the Crossfit Gym they were advised to not skateboard in the area. Everything on location ok.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Carver Place, reference to complainant stating kids in the neighborhood were try to get her granddaughter to come outside and fight with another juvenile, she advised they were leaving the area for a while and she stated she will be reporting the incident to the housing manager tomorrow. Everything on location ok.
  • Noise Complaint In the area of Walker Street- Caller said loud music coming from area. Checked area with negative noise.
  • Follow Up, Radford St., reference to meeting with juvenile who was reported missing. Child is home and ok.  Walton County Communication contacted to remove juvenile from GCIC.
  • Domestic Dispute, Classic Trail, reference to dispute between Earl Mckinnon and a female. Earl arrested for Simple Battery after pulling female off couch and throwing her against the wall.  Warrants to be taken.
  • Threats Report at King St., reference to complainant stating a male subject was in front of her residence last date making threats, she stated she did not go outside or speak to him. Complainant stated he made a video on Facebook live under her name while outside her residence which has since been taken down. Report taken
  • Suspicious Person, South Broad St., reference to a suspicious male on location.  Spoke with male who had the gate code and a key to a storage unit on location.  Everything was ok.
  • Welfare Check, Vine St., reference to complainant stating his 5-year-old daughter was on location alone, made contact with her mother who was at the residence with the child and appeared safe and healthy.  Mother stated her and father no longer together and is currently having civil issues. Everything on location ok.
  • Loud Music on Green St., reference to loud music coming from a residence, area check conducted with negative contact.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, East Church St., The Chestnut Cupboard in reference to a vehicle that was pulled into the parking lot at closing time.  Driver was lost and attempting to locate directions on his phone.  Assisted him in getting on his way.
  • Suspicious Person, South Broad St., Southside Mobile Home Park.  In reference to a white in color Chevy truck being on location, made contact with the occupants the driver Ashlin Springer had a warrant out of Walton County which was confirmed by dispatch. The passenger provided false name and date of birth and was charged with city ordinance disorderly conduct. Both were transported to the Walton County Jail and turned over to the Jail staff without incident.
