Monroe PD Reports: Sexual assaults, public intoxications and domestic disputes

The following are the incidents reported by the Monroe Police Department between March 3 – 9, 2017. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Drunk Person at West Spring Street (Huddle House).  Employees on location contacted Police due to a woman being intoxicated and attempting to leave.  Made contact with the woman and cited her for public drunk and open container.  Turned over to family members.
  • Damage to property on West Spring Street a black male wearing a red hoodie drove away in a white Chevy SUV.  Took gas pump with him.  Has security footage of incident.
  • Suspicious Person at Claywell Circle. Male subject waiting on step-father.
  • Traffic Stop at Jack Peters.  Smelled weed coming from the driver’s vehicle.  Subject arrested for less than an oz of weed.
  • Suspicious Activity Breedlove Court.  No House numbers on the house.  Opened front door checked the inside of the residence no one found inside.  Door re-secured.
  • Suspicious Activity on Horizon Court.  Car door found opened.  Attempted to get someone to the door unable to get anyone even though lights are on inside the residence and TV’s are on.  I closed the door and locked the car door.
  • 911 Call at GW Carver Drive.  4-year-old female called 911 cause she could not wake up her mom.  Pin mapped to this location and everyone was ok.
  • Warrant pick up, Alcovy St., Georgia Probation. Aliska Tulenkun arrested for Newton County probation warrants.
  • Threats, Etten Dr., two subjects in dispute. Neither party on location. All info received by mother via phone.
  • EMS assist, West Spring St., Wal-Mart. Fire requested assistance with elderly male that fell in the parking lot, all ok.
  • Request to area check ref to two suspicious person in tree line area between Tractor Supply and Clearview Medical. Contact made with male and female subjects. Male subject had multiple warrants out of different states. No extradition on any. Both given escort to Clearview for alcohol abuse assistance.
  • Theft report taken at MPD lobby. Cell phone stolen last date from MAHS. Comp referred to the SRO for assistance in the matter.
  • Agency assist, South Broad St. Southside MHP. DFACS making contact with mother who is supposedly cooking meth. No signs of meth, children removed from home.
  • Officer called to East Spring St. Ref to female broken down in unknown vehicle yelling and cussing at everyone stopping to help her. Area checked with negative contact, GOA.
  • Sexual Assault report taken at MPD lobby. Gwinnett county DFACS reporting a sexual assault of a 4-year-old that occurred in Camptown Gardens. Turned over to Criminal Investigations Division.
  • Sexual Assault report taken at MPD lobby. Mother stated her 13-year-old daughter is 6 months pregnant by named 16-year-old male. Due to sex being consensual, no charges will be taken at this time. Mother required a report due to DFACS investigation.
  • Harassing phone calls report taken at MPD lobby. Comp advised that her ex-boyfriend is calling and texting her. She is also calling and texting him, no harassment.  Advised of remedies.
  • Fraud report, Georgia Ave., DFACS office. Ref to female subject scamming people at a church located in the county collecting donations for her daughter who she states to have leukemia and is receiving donations from that false statement. Referred to WCSO.
  • DTP, Atha Street/South Broad Street (Chevron Gas Station) male subject drunk in the street, causing a problem inside the residence.  Cited subject for Drunk in Public / Disorderly conduct.
  • Domestic at Ridge Rd., named male subject throwing complainant down on the ground and attempting to choke her in front of her children ages 2 and 4.  Male subject did state to the victim he was going to make sure she was not going to date anyone but him.  Warrant to be taken on male subject for cruelty to children X2 and simple battery.
  • Domestic problem, King St. Not a domestic problem. Overdue Motorist. Complainant advised her boyfriend took her car to his mother’s house without her permission.
  • EMS Assist on Nelson St., Needed assistant for a patient who began to get combative.  Transported by EMS to Clearview.
  • Suspicious Activity at Jack Peters Store.  Older Blue sedan parked behind the store with male slumped over the seat.  Male checking fuses everything ok.
  • Suspicious Activity at Magnolia Trace.  Caller heard someone near her window and pulling on her door handle.  No one found outside or in the area.
  • Emergency Message, Bolton St., attempting to make contact with mother of 2-month-old.  Tested positive for an infection and needed to go to hospital as soon as possible to get treatment.
  • Missing Person, West Spring Street (Clearview Hospital) patient with mental problem has been missing over an hour from the time of call. Subject was located.
