Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts hosts Fall Arts Celebration

 In conjunction with Monroe’s Fall Festival, Monroe-Walton Center for the Art is hosting a Fall Arts Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

“We have a fun day of art activities planned as outreach to the thousands of visitors to our city that day, including an awesome “Raku-B-Que” in the back parking lot (firing raku pottery),” said Hope Reese, director of the arts center.  “Part of the day’s celebrations will also include live music provided by fabulous local musicians.” 

The Day’s events include:

  • arts and crafts
  • free art activity for kids
  • demonstrations
  • local authors’ tent
  • storytelling
  • pop up shops
  • face painting
  • live music
