Regional Juried Show – next month! Are you ready??
Our Juried Regional Show is an open call to all artists – members and non-members alike. A juried art show is one at which prospective artists will submit their works for review by a panel of jurors. Not all works will be chosen. It is quite an honor to make it into a juried art show! A fee of $35 covers up to three submissions per artist.
This show is a unique Combined Show of our two annual juried shows: Fiber and Regional Shows, with a Fiber

Artists who enter this show will have a unique and powerful opportunity to be featured in “Three Question Interviews” by our Literary Arts Chair, Barbara Barth. The interview will be posted on social media and will include links to learn more and/or shop for the artists’ works.

We also applied for another grant administered by GCA and missed getting it by .42 points (that’s POINT 42!).
Anyway, they had tons of great things to say about us that I just had to share. We are doing good things here and SO much to crow about in the service we are providing to our community.
There’s actually too much to go point-by-point so I’ll summarize their comments. We serve a wide range of the community, including a significant number of people with disabilities. We are serving the interests of the whole county, not just fine arts. Our mental health programming is significant with outreach to disabled adults and at-risk youth. We have grown quickly, especially since 2017
