A Woodworkers Show opened on May 30 at the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts in Downtown Monroe. It will continue until June 17 and you’re invited to a reception for it and all ongoing art shows at the center from 5 – 7 p.m. this Thursday during Monroe’s June Alive After Five Event. There will be live light jazz, light refreshments and you will get a chance to meet the artisans who created the woodworking exhibits of furniture and home decor. While you’re there, you can also take a look at Me’enchanted, the Children’s Interacted Exhibit as well as the collage works of Susan Pelham.
Who knows, you may just find that perfect, unique Father’s Day gift that he’s always wanted.
