The City of Monroe reported the arrest of three men, two from Lithonia and one from Loganville, in connection with 23 entering auto incidents during Sept. 9 – 19, 2019. During that period, several items were taken, “including purses, firearms, bags, computers and many other valuables.”
“Through continuous investigations, helpful tips and information from the public, the City of Monroe Police Department was able to make the arrest of three subject accounting for all the incidents,” MPD said in a press release.
Harley Russell Durham, 20, of Loganville, David Scott, II, of Lithonia and Joshua Harvey, 41, of Lithonia were arrested and charged with entering auto and related charges. Durham and Harvey were arrested in a traffic stop shortly after an entering auto incidents that had happened in the area of Felker Park. MPD reported that evidence from the scenes and tips led to the arrest of Durham accounting for 22 of the reported entering auto crimes.
Residents are urged to always remember to lock your cars, secure your doors and remove any aluables from inside your vehicles every night.
