MPD Reports: Assault, rape and aggravated child molestation charges

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 25 – 29, 2018. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the third part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Entering Auto, Bell Meade Rd., the complainant advised sometime during the night her husband’s hunting gear was taken out of his unlocked truck. The complainant advised she did not want a report but to just let officers know for extra patrol.
  • Theft, Walton Press, the complainant said a white Chevy Silverado, single cab with a white male came on the property a took 200 pallets ($1000) on 11/22/2018. They had surveillance video but it’s not good quality and you can see the truck and white male.  No other identifying marks could be seen.  Report taken.
  • Welfare Check, Turner St., complainant wanted us to check on named subject haven’t heard from him in a while. He is ok just didn’t want to be bothered with today.
  • Counterfeit, East Spring St., advised a white male with a white hoodie passed a $50 counterfeit bill.  I was also given a $20 and $10 counterfeit bill that was collected in the past.
  • Theft, Pierce St., complainant stated that her pressure washer and push lawnmower are missing from her carport. Report Taken.
  • Dispute, West Vine St., two subjects outside discussing their dispute from yesterday. All ok.
  • Agency Assist, Maple Ln., DFACS requested an officer stand by while a home visit was conducted.
  • Trespass, Claywill Circle, made contact with female to be barred from MAHS. Negative contact.
  • EMS Assist, North Broad St., caller advised unconscious child near Sussie’s.  Checked the area with negative contact.  Caller then said wing place near Chestnut Cupboard. Checked the area with negative contact.
  • Welfare Check, Wheeler St., case manager for Nexcare. She was here to check up on a female subject. Case manager heard an argument going on inside of the residence. Resident were talking loud about financial issues that was going on in the family. All is ok.
  • Shoplifting, West Spring St. Terry Bennett arrested for shoplifting.  Released on citation.
  • Suicide or Attempt, South Madison Ave., mother stated her son wanted to hurt himself. The son advised he didn’t but wanted help. Advised some solutions to the problem. Mother advised that she will take him to Ridgeview. All is ok.
  • Meet Person, South Broad St., complainant wanted an escort to North Midland Ave to prevent an altercation. All ok.
  • Theft, Pierce St., complainant stated that her pressure washer and push lawnmower are missing from her carport. Report Taken.
  • Dispute, West Vine St., two subjects outside discussing their dispute from yesterday. All ok.
  • Agency Assist, Maple Ln., DFACS requested an officer stand by while a home visit was conducted.
  • Trespass, Claywill Circle, made contact with a female to be barred from MAHS. Negative contact.
  • Wanted Person, Alcovy St., Probation had Tom Vang in custody due to a VOP warrant out of Union City.  Officer transported Mr. Vang to the Walton County Jail.
  • Warrant Served, MLK Jr Blvd., Applebee’s, reference to Ashley Anderson having a warrant for Violation of Probation. Arrest made, report taken.
  • Threats, W Creek Cir., complainant stated that two males were outside in a dispute. One of the males stated that he was going to shoot up the place. Both males were gone when officers arrived.
  • Suspicious Person, East Spring St., reference to a white male harassing customer.  The subject was located and taken home.
  • Meet with, E Church, Staff at Pediment Walton requested an officer to make contact with staff on E Church St and see if they had someone missing. Staff advised that everyone was accounted for and not missing.
  • Warrant Served, Mathis St., Robert Boykins was arrested on warrants for statutory rape and aggravated child molestation.
  • Wanted Person, New County Jail, County advised that Lonno Ringston was ready for pick up. Lonno was picked up and transported to the Walton County jail.
  • Assault, South Broad St., reference to complainant claiming named male subject assaulted her earlier in the day.
  • Dispute, East Church St., Marable Manor, reference to female subject disputing with staff. All ok.
  • Identify Fraud report taken at South Broad St., Monroe Police Dept., Complainant advised named subject stole her identity while out of state in New Jersey and obtained student loans in the amount of $6,481.
