MPD Reports: Auto theft, hit and run, disorderly conduct and slew of domestic disputes

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period April 4 – 10, 2019. Due to the length, the report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Domestic – Tanglewood Dr. – Two parties verbally disputing. Parties were separated. Report taken,
  • Dispute – E. Spring St. – Hair Lounge. The complainant, the owner, wanted officers to stand by while former employee was escorted off the property.
  • Child Custody – S. Broad St. Girlfriend verbally disputing with a boyfriend.  Situation mediated.
  • Stolen Vehicle – S. Broad St. – Monroe Police Department in reference to speaking with Complainant via phone regarding a stolen vehicle. The complainant stated he’s a truck driver, currently on the road driving, and last seen his black 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe parked at Cloverdale Dr. He received information that the vehicle is stolen.  No one knew where it was at. Vehicle placed on GCIC as stolen
  • Suspicious Person – Magnolia Ter. In reference to a subject who was not supposed to be on location.  Subject saw an officer and fled from the area.  She was arrested while hiding at Magnolia St. was trespassed from housing and charged with disorderly conduct.
  • Dispute – E. Church St. at Hammond Dr. in reference to subject disputing with her sister. Parties were separated.
  • Dispute – Tall Oaks Lane. The complainant was verbally disputing with her roommate’s friend. He was very agitated on the scene and was not following lawful orders and was arrested for disorderly conduct.
  • Dispute – Glen Iris Dr. Complainant advised subject hit her 13-year-old son.  Made contact with parties.  Justin Roberts was served with criminal trespass for the property on Glen Iris.  Report Taken
  • Dispute – Da Grand – Subject was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning after a dispute with security
  • Foot patrol – in the area of the Historic District.
  • Theft – Vine St. (BWCT Wood Production): Complainant stated that some Juveniles came on the property and took keys out of equipment that is on the property. Report Taken.
  • Harassment – Breedlove Court: Complainant advised that her ex-friend subject is stating on social media that she is going to do physical harm towards her. Report Taken.
  • Domestic – Roosevelt St.:  Complainant disputing with niece, and daughter, over feeding the dog. Report taken.
  • Hit & Run – S. Madison Ave. / Atha St.: 2 vehicles involved. Unknown vehicle left the scene. Report Taken
  • Traffic Stop/Arrest – Booth Dr./Morrow St. Subject arrested for Driving on Suspended License.
  • Agency Assist – Pine Park – in reference to Walton County needing contact to be made with a subject who was involved in a domestic dispute earlier this date.  The officer observed subjects standing in front of the apartment.  Officer made contact with Alicia Hendricks who an active warrant out of Oconee County.  Walton County asked that she be taken into custody on the warrant and they will speak to her at the jail.
  • Loud Music – Glen Iris Dr; Reference to loud music coming from Turner St. Party shut down as Officers arrived.
  • Suspicious Person – Green St; John Boyd was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant out of Baldwin County and was also charged with possession of schedule II (cocaine
