MPD Reports: Blackmail over video, 10-year-old spits on mother, another won’t take medication,

The City of Loganville Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Dec. 28, 208 to Jan. 3, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the first part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Entering Auto, Plaza Dr./Plaza Trace, the complainant advised two iPhones taken from an unlocked vehicle. No signs of forced entry, no other items taken. Report Taken
  • Suicide Attempt, Kings Ridge, complainant stated that his wife was trying to cut herself with a pair of scissors. She was transported to Walton Piedmont Hospital. Report Taken.
  • Follow up, West Spring St., ICU at the hospital. The complainant advised she needed a copy of a previous report of stolen medication. Advised to contact PD in reference to obtaining a copy.
  • Welfare Check, Glenwood Dr., made contact with the complainant. He stated named female was kicked out this morning and was taken to DEFACS by her caseworker.
  • Fraud, MPD lobby, Subject advised that he was being blackmailed by people he met online over a video he did with them. He advised the incident originated in Bogart GA at his cousin’s house, he was referred to Oconee County.
  • Meet With, East Church St., complainant advised named subject possibly driving drunk in the area approximately 2 hours before he called. Wanted oncoming shifts to be aware. BOLO (Be on the lookout) for While 89 Suburban
  • Theft, MPD lobby, complainant reporting her black Taurus 9mm taken from her vehicle on December 23rd, she didn’t notice the weapon missing until yesterday around 1700 hours. Serial number provided and entered onto GCIC
  • Dispute, East Marable St., complainant upset due to others packing her items. Parties worked out an agreement.  All ok.
  • Assault, MPD lobby, complainant reporting being peppered sprayed while in the Golden Pantry Parking lot last date by named subject.
  • Traffic Stop, Felker/West Church St., Adria Wiley stopped for stop sign violation, warrants from Winder PD. Released to the custody of Walton County Sheriff’s Office jail.
  • Meet in Person, MPD Lobby, South Broad St., met with the complainant who wanted to know how to press charges on a juvenile subject. She was explained the necessary steps to take.
  • Damage to Property, reference to complainant having the tires to her vehicles cut. Report taken
  • Entering, Ramesh Lane, reference to complainant’s wife taking his work computer from his vehicle 12/17/2018 and not returning it. The item is not common property as it belongs to complainant’s workplace. Report taken.
  • Civil Matter, Walker Dr., reference to complainant needing an escort for her to collect her things.
  • Suspicious Vehicle, Felker Park, Officer observed a black passenger vehicle backed into a parking spot.  As Officer pulled up to the vehicle the driver began driving away from Officer.  Officer conducted a traffic stop inside Felker Park.  An odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.  Marijuana was located inside the glove box.  The driver was cited for marijuana less than an ounce.
  • Suspicious person, North Broad St., Tanglewood, caller advised of a male on a bike in the roadway. Conducted an area check no contact.
  • 911 Hang Up, New Lacy St., reference to a juvenile subject stating he had shot and killed his parents. Contact made with the juvenile subject on location, he was detained and released after further investigation revealed no one on location was injured and it was a prank phone call. The juvenile subject was strongly advised not to prank 911 again.
  • Dispute, Roosevelt St., reference to wife wanting an officer to standby while her husband gets his belongings. The two are separating due to infidelity.
  • Meet With, Chevron on West Spring St., reference to complainant wanting a customer Criminal Trespass from the property. The subject was GOA.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Monroe Motor Inn, mother called in reference to her son being disrespectful.  She was given remedies to the situation.
  • Juvenile Complaint, East Spring St., reference to mother from above call calling because her son was acting out and standing in the roadway. Situation mediated.
  • Traffic Stop, Davis St/Harris St, Officer observed a vehicle with a headlight out and no license plate.  While conducting the stop it was found that the passenger Sarah Dean had an active warrant out of Monroe Police Department.  After the warrant was confirmed Ms. Dean was taken into custody.  She was fingerprinted and transported to the Walton County Jail.
  • Civil Matter, Alcovy St., reference to complainant calling having questions about the eviction process.
  • Loud Music, Davis St., reference to Davis St.  playing music loudly. Made contact with the resident on Davis St. and advised her to turn the music down.
  • Suspicious Person, New Lacy St., towing co., advised they were en route to an area to pull a car out of the mud.  They advised the subject sounded suspicious.  The vehicle was pulled from the mud.  All ok.
  • Dispute, Plaza Dr., caller stated a group of people were outside and yelling about to fight. Upon arrival said group of people began to leave.
  • Fight, Plaza Dr., the caller stated the people were back and fighting outside. Upon arrival, only one person was outside. No active fight nor was anyone on location.
  • Dispute, Plaza Dr., anonymous caller stated the subjects returned again and were disputing while playing loud music. Contact made with a female subject. She explained she was upset because while at a party in the area several items of hers were stolen. Female subject declined a report. The female subject was advised to leave the area and stop causing a disturbance.
  • Traffic Stop, Hwy 78, Aycock Ave., the driver was stopped for multiple traffic violations. Consent search yielded misdemeanor Marijuana. Citations issued.
  • Dispute, Wheel House Lane, met with the complainant. She stated named female came to her residence
  • Dispute, Tanglewood Dr., resident had a question about changing locks, the situation explained.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Parkway Place, met with the complainant. He stated he had his grandkids outside playing and there was older Juvenile’s playing basketball. He asked them to stop using cuss words. Both parties mediated.
  • Dispute, Magnolia Terr., met with the female subject from earlier call who wanted to give her side of the incident on Wheel House Lane. Supplement to case number.
  • Fight, Al’s Discount Tire, subjects said to be fighting over a hairdo.  Subjects peppered sprayed during the incident.  EMS called to check juvenile.  Subjects were dispersed. Misc. report completed.
  • Follow Up, Cook St., reference to locating a subject who was involved in an earlier dispute at Al’s discount tire.
  • Unknown, Vine St., dispute between male and female subjects. Report taken
  • Dispute Highway 78, reference to female subject hanging out on location in the restroom possibly doing drugs. The female subject was outside Waffle House upon my arrival. There was broken glass recovered by WH staff which was thrown away. The female subject was given a ride to Southside Mobile Home Park.
  • Theft, South Broad St., female subject advised her purse and cell phone were stolen from a table at the Chevron.  Officer watched video and did not observe anyone taking her belongings.  She was extremely confused and advised to check her house.
  • Noise Complaint in the area of Walker Dr., reference to fireworks being shot off. All ok.
  • Fire Works, Oakwood Lane, reference to complainant hearing fireworks in the area of her neighborhood all ok.
  • Discharge Firearms, Reed Way, caller advised that she heard 4 shots in the area. Conducted an area check no contact.
  • Dispute, Tanglewood Dr., reference to a verbal dispute, upon arrival both subject and complainant were gone. Family members contacted complainant back and instructed her to return to speak with Officers. Complainant stated she didn’t want to be in a relationship with the father of her child anymore and he’s upset about it. Childs father took complainants phone and left the residence. The phone was purchased by child’s father but complainant pays the bill. Report taken.
  • Dispute, Pine Park/Lacy St., reference to a male and female arguing in the parking lot on Pine Park. Officers patrolled the area and did not observe anyone arguing. All appeared ok.
  • Fight, Lacy St/Pine Park, all subjects were gone when officers arrived.
  • Juvenile Complaint, Monroe Motor Inn, reference to mothers 10-year-old son spitting in her face. Situation mediated.
  • Suspicious Person, Gliding Way, made contact with complainant who advised a male wearing a light-colored hoodie and blue jeans came to her door.  She saw him on her door bell camera and said hello over the camera.  The male then ran away from the apartment.  Officers patrolled the area and had negative contact with the subject.
  • Foot Patrol, behind Rivers Of Mercy. Located two suspicious persons who fled on foot. Both subjects apprehended. Rodrell Robinson was arrested for warrants and possession with intent (Marijuana). The other male was released from the scene Rodrell was charged with Possession with intent to distribute Marijuana, Obstruction and Loitering and Prowling.
  • Traffic Stop, Pine Park St, /Davis St., officer observed a vehicle traveling without a tag light.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Erica Dillard, had an active warrant out of Gwinnett County.  Warrant was confirmed.  Ms. Dillard was transported to the Walton County Jail.
  • Dispute, GW Carver Dr., complainant stated that her child’s father had kicked in the bedroom door. The complainant was not on location when this took place. Attempted to make contact with the father but was unable to. Report taken
  • Damage to Property, Norris St., complainant reporting vehicle damage possibly involving ex-husband. Requested extra patrol in reference to him being mentally ill. Report taken.
  • Juvenile Complaint, South Madison Ave., met with the complainant. She stated her son is refusing to take his medication as directed by the doctor. Both parties were mediated. The complainant was explained on how to file an unruly charge though Juvenile Courts. All is ok.
  • Traffic Stop, GA-138, driver stopped for no insurance. Vehicle impounded, citation issued. While on scene a passenger became irate and was arrested for disordelry. Released on copy. Report taken.
