MPD Reports: Couple engaging in sexual activity in vehicle at Felker Park issued warning

The City of Monroe reported the following incidents for the period June 13 – 20, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Runaway Juvenile – Birch St.: Complainant stated juvenile left the residence this date at approximately 0800 hours. Last seen wearing blue jean shorts. Report Taken.
  • Assault – Breedlove Dr. (Ridgeview):  Complainant stated two of her patients got into a physical altercation last date. She just wanted the incident to be documented. Report Taken
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. (Wal-Mart) – In reference to a subject skip-scanning items. Arrested for shoplifting. Fingerprinted and released.
  • Theft – MPD – In reference to complainant reporting her Cobra Denali 380 was taken from her vehicle at Monroe Pediatric.
  • Theft – MPD – Complainant reported $2988.83 in money orders were taken from his laptop bag while he was giving a ride to a subject to Decatur GA.
  • Meet With DFACS – S. Broad St.:  Reference allegation complainant stated about being inappropriately touched by her mom’s stepfather.  Went to the residence and spoke to an individual who said complainant was not home but her stepfather lives in Winder.  Advised DFACS.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – N. Broad St. / E. Marable St. in reference to a vehicle failing to maintain a lane.  Officer had contact with the vehicle and did not observe any violations.
  • Suspicious Person – Tyler St. and N. Broad: Three males on location. Subject on location with open container. Subject was issued a warning.
  • Suspicious Person – Forest Lane. Complainant called to state that the male had returned to her house. Bradley Metcalf was located after trying to hide in the woods. Bradley had warrants out of Winder PD. Bradley was placed under arrest and turned over to Winder PD without incident.
  • Traffic Stop – Davis St. and Ash St. Subject stopped for driving without a valid tag. Vehicle impounded for no insurance. Elise was cited for no insurance, suspended tag, and no license on person.
  • Dispute – S. Madison Ave. The complainant stated that a named person put two dogs in her back yard without asking.  During the course of the investigation, it was found that the named person had an active warrant out of Walton County for violation of probation. She came came back to the residence and was placed in custody.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Felker Park: Two subjects located having intercourse in a parked vehicle. Warnings issued.
  • 911 Hang Up – W. Creek Cir.: Perry Brown on location refusing to answer the door after calling 911. Perry received citations for illegal parking and littering. Report taken reference unruly household.
  • Suspicious Vehicle – Breedlove Ct: Juveniles located sneaking out past curfew, returned to mother. All ok.
  • Suicide Threats – Tanglewood Dr.  Complainant stated her daughter has been saying she wanted to die.  Officer spoke with daughter and did not see any sign she was trying to harm herself.  She stated she was just upset and said it.  Remedies were given to both parties.
  • Suspicious Person – Bell St.: Subject on scene again sleeping in abandoned residence. Cited for loitering.
  • Prowler – Gliding Lane: Made contact with the subject at Springer Lane.  He was arrested for a Parole Warrant.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. (Wal-Mart): The complainant had two people in Loss Prevention office for shoplifting.  One was issued a Criminal Trespass. Report Taken.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St.t (Wal-Mart) – In reference to a subject concealing items in baby stroller. She was arrested for shoplifting and released on citation,
  • Wanted Person – S. Madison Ave. Units were advised that Marquaveon Smith on location with active warrants. Marquaveon was located trying to hid in the back yard. He was taken into custody without incident and taken to Walton County jail.
