MPD Reports: Doctor assaulted over medicine, unusual car complaints, unruly juveniles

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 7 – 14, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Burglary Report – W. Fambrough St. in reference to someone, possible juveniles, entering the residence and scattering trash and possibly taking a kids’ paint case. The side window latch was also damaged. Incident occurred between Saturday – This Date. Report made. 
  • Domestic – Green St.: Complainant stated that her boyfriend got mad and upset because he needed gas money and she would not give it to him. Parties separated and situation mediated. Report taken.
  • Theft Report – Spruce Lane: Complainant reported someone had stolen her tag off of her vehicle about 2 weeks ago.
  • Auto Theft – Charlotte Rowell Blvd. / Hwy 138: Met with a complainant who stated that her vehicle was taken from her at this intersection by a subject unknown last name. Report taken.
  • Area check – Piedmont Walton. Caller requested an area check for her grandmother’s vehicle. She was told by her grandmother that her car was stolen. She wanted to see if the vehicle was on location and that she had just forgot where she left it. Vehicle was located, not stolen.
  • Dispute – S. Madison Ave. The caller stated that a male would not give her, her car back. Upon arrival, no one was on location. Made contact via phone she stated she got her car back and that she did not know where she was at.
  • Entering Auto – Highland Ter: Complainant advised that his vehicle was possibly gone through over the night time hours. Complainant declined a report, just wanted Law Enforcement to be aware.
  • Dispute – Walton Truck Stop Hwy 78. in reference to the complainant being followed by an unknown male to the truck stop and then words were exchanged about a road rage issue. No report requested by the complainant. All ok.
  • Dispute – Etten Dr., The complainant was arguing with her adult son.
  • Other law – Hotspot. A Male on location was upset with workers because the slot machine took his $100. Workers opened the machine and only saw a $20, and told the male to leave. The male was gone on arrival.
  • Suspicious person – Tanglewood Dr. Caller stated that someone was in her attic. The apt next to hers was vacant and the back door was unlocked. Officers cleared the house and noticed that someone had been in the attic. The doors were locked and she was advised to call if she thinks anyone was back inside.
  • Dispute – New Lacy St. Roommates had a verbal argument with each other, Parties separated in the residence.
  • Unruly Juvenile – Tangle Wood Dr. Complainant called 911 because her son was acting out and his friend were making unruly phone calls to her two youngest daughters and his friends entered the empty apartment that was next door.
  • Assault – Breedlove Dr. – Ridgeview. The subject assaulted her doctor because she was upset about not getting her medicine after being discharged. She was arrested for simple assault and taken the Walton County Jail.
