MPD Reports: It’s not a good idea to engage in adult activities outdoors if you have outstanding warrants

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Oct. 1 – 8, 2020. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Dispute – Overlook Crest: to son disrespecting his mother’s house rules. Situation mediated. 

Dispute – Turner Street: to civil dispute between neighbors. Ongoing issue between neighbors. Referred to the proper courts. 

Suspicious Vehicle – Davis Street a white Honda Accord keeps parking the apartment’s parking lot. All okay with the vehicle. 

EMS Assist – Tanglewood Drive: subject experiencing seizures. Turned over to EMS. 

Suspicious Vehicle – Highland Creek and Double Springs Church Road a blue sedan with heavy damage and busted tire. Contact made with subject at Highland creek Drive who had struck an equipment vehicle on Cedar Ridge and left the scene. Turned over to Walton County Sheriff’s Office 

Fraud – Green Street: subject reporting his bank telling him he did not pay his car payment in September. Subject says the payment was made in cash on 09/14/2020. 

Intoxicated Driver – M.L.K. Jr Blvd; Valero/Checkers. In reference to a red Jeep with open containers. Vehicle was gone upon officer arrival. 

Assault – Tanglewood Dr. 

Threats – W Spring St; Piedmont Walton. In reference to a complainant stay that her roommate approached her with a baseball bat but did not swing the bat. 

Loitering – E Church St; Cheveron. Officer was conducting an area check on foot attempting to locate (2) black males loitering and asking costumers for money. Upon trying to locate the (2) subjects, Officer walked behind the building and observed (2) subjects doing adult activity. After a brief foot chase one subject was taken into custody. The male was charged with OCGA 16-10-24; Obstruction, OCGA 16- 13-30; Poss. of Schedule II, and OCGA 16-13-75; Drugs to be kept in original container. He also had an active warrant out of MPD for probation violation. The female subject was released and sent on her way. Warrants taken. 

Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 138 & Hwy 78 – Subject was driving when she found out that her friend had just died. She was distraught at the loss. Subject was told to pull over until she felt safe to drive. 

Agency Assist – Assisted ACCPD in looking for a white Kia that was involved in a shooting earlier this date. Bolo sent out from ACCPD. Subjects are from the Monroe Area. 

Accident with Unknown Injuries – Unisia Dr at Unisia Dr. Initial two vehicle accident, then a third vehicle hit a pedestrian on the original accident scene. Pedestrian transported to Piedmont Walton by EMS. One of the drivers transported to Piedmont Walton by EMS. One passenger involved was transported by EMS to Piedmont Walton. TOT GSP.
