MPD Reports: Juvenile disciple and domestic dispute complaints

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Dec. 5 – 12, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the fourth part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Dispute – W. Spring St. – Piedmont Walton. In reference to subject on location refusing treatment and refusing to leave. The subject was involved in an accident earlier this date in the county and had been transported to the hospital by EMS. He was advised he could not stay on location after signing the refusal papers. The subject advised he lives at Doster Ave in Green Acres and was transported to Bojangles and walked home from there. 
  • Dispute – Wheelhouse Lane – In reference to complainant stating her children’s father got upset and left residence with the children. Did not feel like they were in danger or want police to find them. Believes he just left for a short time and would be back.
  • Suspicious Person – S. Madison Ave. in reference to subject walking in the middle of the roadway with a trash can. The subject was asked to walk on the sidewalk.
  • Dispute – Perry St.: In reference to complainant wanting a subject to get the rest of her stuff and leave the residence. Report taken
  • Theft – N. Broad St. in reference to complainant losing her maroon wallet. Report taken.
  • Burglary – Red Oak Ct: In reference to someone busted out the back-kitchen window. A Gray or Silver Suv leaving the area occupied by two males (black male & white male and a white female. Report taken.
  • Damage to Property – Parkway Pl. in reference to an older model red van striking complainant’s mailbox. Report taken.
  • Dispute – W. Spring St. – In reference to an anonymous caller stating a subject was assaulted by her boyfriend and in the hospital. Spoke with the subject who denied any assault. Report taken.
  • Dispute – Ash Lane in reference to a 3rd party caller stating parties were arguing at the residence. Made contact with a subject who advised everything was ok and there was no dispute.
  • Follow Up – E. Spring St. in reference to serving Adrian Lee with a criminal trespass notice. Noticed completed. Upon checking Adrian’s ID, he returned with a warrant out of Gwinnett County and was arrested. Report made.
  • Juvenile Complaint – E. Washington St. in reference to complainants’ 15-year-old daughter not wanting to go to school and leaving the residence. Complainant declined any police action. I made contact with the 15-year-old and returned her home.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Old Mill Point in reference to the complainants having issues with their 13-year-old grandson who was gone upon arrival. They were advised of remedies.
  • Theft – E. 5th Str. in reference to the theft of her son’s medication. Report Made
  • Dispute – Ash Ln. In reference to a female arguing with her family. Uber called and the daughter left the home for the night.
  • Illegal Dumping – S. Broad St.at Fambrough St. in reference to a white van near the Thrift store dumping items out. Gone on arrival unknown direction of travel.
  • Dispute – S. Broad in reference to a subject arguing with her ex-boyfriend over the phone over custody of their son. Civil issue.
  • Suspicious person – Nelson St. in reference to someone was knocking at the complainant’s door.
  • Traffic Stop – Hwy. 78 and Unisia Dr. Garrett Carr stopped for expired tag. Arrested for possession with intent meth, marijuana and possession of oxycodone. Report Made.
  • Damage to Property – Nowell St. In reference to kids busting out the window on Dodge SUV. Report declined at the moment. Request follow up when witness could be spoken with. All ok.
  • Follow Up – Old Mill Point in reference to speaking to a juvenile in reference to his actions at home. Also had the Juvenile return a bicycle that he borrowed from a neighbor. Nothing further.
  • Found Property – Alcovy St. at Belle Meade in reference to a purple bicycle chained to a tree off the roadway.
  • Dispute – Double Springs Ch. Rd. (MAHS) – In reference to a dispute which occurred in the county. Turned over to Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Theft Report – E. Church St. in reference to a subject’s disability card being used without authorization by subject. Report made.
