MPD Reports: Officers administer Narcan to a subject overdosing in the back seat of a car

The City of Monroe Police Department reports the following incidents for the period Feb. 6 – 13, 2020. Due to the length, this report was split into five parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Rape Report – Walker Dr. – Complainant reported she was drugged and raped by a white male on December 28th 2019. Complainant doesn’t know where the suspect lives or any way to contact him. Complainant advised she found out she was raped because she is pregnant. See report. 
  • Dispute -Tanglewood Lane. An unknown caller reported a male and female had gotten into a dispute. The parties separated and walked away prior to officers’ arrival. Area checked for involved persons and none found.
  • Damage to Property – E. Church St. Complainant advised of her ex-boyfriend broke her cell phone and cracked her windshield during a dispute. The subject was gone upon officer arrival. Report taken.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. Walmart – Subject was arrested for shoplifting and charged with Possession of Marijuana less the 1 oz. She also had a warrant out of Barrow County.
  • Counterfeit – Hwy 78. Store clerked advised that a white female subject attempted to pay with a counterfeit $50.00 bill. The clerk advised that she gave back the counterfeit bill and the subject re-paid with real currency. Report taken
  • Domestic Dispute – New Lacy St. – In reference to the subject coming to the residence to fight the homeowner. The subject was gone upon officers’ arrival and the subject was advised of civil remedies.
  • Agency Assist – Holly Hill Rd in reference to welfare check of subject. All ok.
  • Dispute – E. Spring St. In reference to a black male subject yelling at the employee and left in a white van. The manager said that an employees’ spouse walked into the store and started arguing with the employee and left the scene.
  • Dispute – W. Spring St. – In reference to a verbal dispute between two subjects called by staff. Subjects told to leave the property.
  • Suspicious Person – Hwy 138 and Michael Etchison Road – In reference to the subject in the roadway. Given ride home to Lacy St.
  • Dispute – Baker St. – in reference to complainant claimed his neighbor was using improper hand gestures in front of his kids. The subject was told to not flip complainant off.
  • Warrant – Ford St. – In reference to a subject with juvenile probation warrant. He was arrested and turned over to Walton County Sheriff’s Office for transport.
  • Dispute – E. Fambrough St. in reference to complainant wanted her son removed from her residence. Upon Officers arrival, the son left the scene.
  • Burglary Report – Mt. View Dr. in reference to tools stolen from a shed. The report was taken.
  • Juvenile Complaint – GW Carver Dr. in reference to complainant stating children are using her water without permission.
  • Walton County Jail -Warrant Service. In reference to serving a subject with a warrant at Walton County Jail for day shift.
  • Dispute – Piedmont Walton. Mental male on location upset. Male was upset that his wife had cheated on him, he was advised of the mental evaluation process and calmed down.
  • Traffic Violation – W. Spring and Henson Ave. The subject ran stop sign at Henson and W. Spring. After the stop, his driver’s license returned as suspended. Vehicle towed. License seized. Processed at MPD and released on citation. Given a ride back to work.
  • Flagged down – Hwy 78 Cedar Ridge. Unit was flagged down in reference to a male in the back seat of a vehicle overdosing. Narcan was given twice along with CPR. The male was turned over to EMS and transported.
