MPD Reports: Snake relocated from bathroom, Kids throwing water balloons again

The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period May 31 – June 6, 2019. Due to the length, this report has been split into five parts. This is the last part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

  • Harassment – W. Spring St. – Monroe Library. Complainant advised subject was verbally harassing the library staff. Report taken.
  • Warrant Service – Turner Hill Rd / Dekalb County S.O. in reference to a suspect. She was transported to MPD and turned over to Criminal Investigation Division for questioning. She was later transported to the Walton County Jail.
  •  Shoplifting – W. Spring St. – Walmart in reference to a black female skip-scanning items. The subject left before arrival.  Report taken.
  • Theft Report – Lacy St. – Complainant reported sometime between 05/31/2019 and 06/02/2019, someone entered his vehicle and took his prescription for Lortab.
  • Theft Report – New Lacy St. Complainant advised she had purchased two separate items and had them mailed to her by USPS. She advised that she never received the packages and they were possibly stolen from her porch. Spoke to a neighbor and she advised none of her kids or family have taken them or seen anyone take them.
  • Warrant Service – S. Madison Ave. Subject on location with active Loganville Police Department probation violation. Transported to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Stolen Vehicle – Wheel House Ln, Complainant reported that subject took her 2012 Scion XD at the end of April without permission and has not returned it.
  • Shoplifting – W. Spring St. – Walmart in reference to a B/F in a red shirt and black shorts concealing items inside the store, then leaving on foot. An area check was conducted with negative contact. The female was identified through video surveillance. Warrant To Be Taken for felony shoplifting.
  • Dispute – Breedlove Dr. in reference to complainant getting a call from her daughter that she had been assaulted by another patient.  Met with Staff and mother and Interviewed daughter.  Report taken all ok.
  • Mental Transport – In reference to locating and transporting a juvenile to ER.  The grandmother stated grandson had a mental evaluation order.  The male began acting irate with Officers.  He was detained and transported to the hospital. All ok
  • Dispute – Landers St.  Complainant stated that she was involved in a domestic with her mother.  She stated that her mother, as well as her mother’s boyfriend, left prior to Officer arrival.  Report taken.
  • Shoplifting – Chestnut Cupboard.  The clerk at the store stated a black male wearing an orange shirt and black shorts ran out of the store without paying for an item.  The suspect took a two dollars charcoal starter.  The clerk stated they wished to press charges.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Sorrell St. in reference to kids throwing water balloons. Spoke with group of children and told them to stop what they’re doing.
  • Dispute – Plantation Dr.  Neighbor heard a dispute coming from Plantation Drive.  Officer made contact with the subject who advised she was in an argument on the phone and would shut the door.
  • Suicide Attempt – Haven Inn.  The complainant called stating he wanted to harm himself.  Once an Officer was on the scene he also stated he wanted to harm himself and thought people were trying to harm him.  He advised he had eaten meth earlier in the day.  He was given a ride to the hospital for a voluntary mental evaluation upon his request.
  • Animal Complaint – Plantation Dr. Snake in bathroom. Snake relocated to wooded area and released. All ok.
  • Domestic – Bold Springs Ave. – In reference to complainant upset her son is using her electricity. Advised on options. Son was arrested for Failure to Appear warrant through Monroe PD.
  • Traffic Stop/Arrest – N. Madison Ave./E. Spring St.: Driver arrested for Driving on a Revoked License. Warning given for failure to stop at a stop sign.
  •  Agency Assist – Knight St. – In reference to locating a missing juvenile. Juvenile located and left at residence per mother’s request.
  • Threats – S. Broad St. – actually Barrett Street: Complainant said a white male was on location, threatening to hit dogs with a rock. The dogs did just kill a duck. The complainant said the white male (bald, light blue shirt, slender build, late 40s) threatened to kill her too.  She said the male made reference to this is his morning walk and requested extra patrol. She did not want to prosecute but would like him trespassed if contact made and he can be identified. Report taken.
  • Theft – Walker Dr. – In reference to Orange Mongoose Bike stolen from driveway. No serial number.
  • Juvenile Complaint – Richard Parsons Dr.-Monroe Airport: Reference juveniles running on the landing strip. Checked the area.
  • Follow up – W. Marable St.  – Complainant stated that someone told him they heard that the people at another apartment were going to fight him. He was advised to leave everyone alone.
  • Follow Up – W. Marable St. – Upon arrival several people outside disputing, multiple people cited for Disorderly Conduct.
  • Dispute – W. Marable St. Caller stated that everyone was back outside yelling. Upon arrival, no one was yelling only a few people were outside. They advised that no one had come back out after the last time Officers were there.
  • Fight – at Monroe Estates units were in the area and did not see any fighting, large gathering of people.  Officers dispersed the crowd.
  • Traffic Stop – N. Broad E Marable St. Kelisie Hill was found to have a warrant for arson out of Port Wentworth Ga. Arrested and turned over to Walton County Sheriff Department
