Chris Clay age 40 of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2019, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Pastor Jason Barrett officiating.
Chris had a smile and personality that could light up any room. His love for life and his family was apparent to anyone who was ever fortunate to spend time with him. He was always the life of the party and the favorite patient in any medical office he was ever treated by. He will be remembered always for his loving, kind and caring spirit that was always radiant. He was a superintendent with John Pennebaker. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Conway Clay, Loganville; children, Colton Clay, Camryn Clay, Garrison Gunter; father, Billy Clay; mother, Deborah Staten; grandmother, Patricia Middlebrooks, Winder; step-mother, Cindy Clay; brother & sister-in-law, Joey & Carly Clay, Loganville; father-in-law, Butch Conway, Dacula; mother-in-law, Lynn Conway, Loganville; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Regina & Kevin Cann, Pendergrass; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
