Harry C. Puckett, went home to heaven on Monday, November 23, 2020. He was born on November 21, 1925, in the east Atlanta community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Z. Britt Puckett; oldest son, Barry C. Puckett; and his parents, L.C. and Sarah Puckett.
Mr. Puckett graduated from Tech High in Atlanta, the class of 1944, and was drafted into naval military service during WWII, into the Pacific Theatre on PT boat duty. He was later drafted back to the Korean War. He attended Georgia Tech, on the GI bill. He worked, in the automobile industry, as a body repair man and painter.
Mr. Puckett was a faithful member and elder of Corinth Baptist Church, in Loganville. He was faithful to his Lord and Savior, to the very end. He was the father of five children, Barry C. Puckett, Jane Puckett of Lawrenceville, GA, Benjamin J. Puckett (Karin) of Clearwater, FL, Charles C. Puckett (Shari) of Lawrenceville, GA, Dea Ann Seckinger (Bill) of Dacula, GA; and grandfather to five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service to honor and celebrate the life of Harry C. Puckett will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Corinth Baptist Church, Loganville, GA. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Decatur, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
