Victoria G. Rush, age 61, of Monroe, GA, died on June 22, 2020. She was born in Ft. Belvoir, VA, on August 23, 1958. She is preceded in death by her parents, Colonel & Mrs. Eugene Goldston, and a granddaughter, Ryane Rush.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Rush of Monroe, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan & Sara Rush of McPherson, KS; son and daughter-in-law Andrew & Kristi Rush of The Colony, TX; son and daughter-in-law Tim & Lindsey Rush of Frisco, TX; grandchildren, Dannielle, Eliana, Gabrielle, Sophia, Carson, Carter, Maddux, & Abigail; & sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne & Mark Rambeau ofÂ Marietta, GA.
Victoria was a Registered Nurse and spent most of her career working in the NICU. She loved the babies and working with their parents. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA, and over the years in various churches served the Lord faithfully as a pastorâ??s wife, member of the choir, and as a counselor to women. She volunteered her service to the Navy Relief Society as a financial counselor while her husband served in the military. She also served as a counselor in several crisis pregnancy centers. She was thoughtful, encouraging, and gracious toward everyone she met. She loved the Lord and her family dearly. Her grandchildren were especially close to her heart. She also loved her dogs, Champ, Abi and Dexter!
A memorial service celebrating her life and honoring her Lord Jesus Christ will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 1025 Church, 1025 E. Spring Street, Monroe, GA 30655 with Rev. Tommy Fountain, Sr., & Rev. Mike Griffin officiating.
