Obituary: Sandy Black, 64, of Monroe

Sandy Black, age 64 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. A Private Graveside Service was held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Rev. Rodney Hall officiated. Sandy was a member of Sanctuary Baptist Church and had worked for Gwinnett County school system in risk management. She was the epitome of beauty and grace with a heart full of love. Never a word of malice to cross her lips, and only the sweetest of gestures offered to any and all she met. Devotion to her family is how her days were lived with a steadfast dedication to her faith. Imagine being loved so unconditionally and always being told how much you are loved, this was how Sandy gave you her heart … fully. As gentle as a butterfly, and a soul overflowing with pure kindness, Sandy’s angelic spirit now has wings to fly. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, John Brinson, and is survived by her husband, David Black of Monroe; daughter & son-in-law, Melissa & Sean McArdle of Sausalito, CA; son & daughter-in-law, Jamie & Tanaya Meaders of Monroe; grandchildren, Merrit Meaders, Gaia McArdle, Jax Meaders; mother, Elsie Brinson of Monroe; and brother, Randy Brinson.
