Beginning this year for the 2019-20 school year, the WCSD pre-k registration process has been moved online. Walton County School District announced that the online registration window for the upcoming school year drawing will open on Feb. 18 and close at 4:30 p.m. on March 8.

The pre-kindergarten program is dependent upon funding received from Bright from the Start and the successful attendees to the program are selected through a “lottery” style drawing system to fill the seats each year. The remaining children are drawn in the same way and placed on a waiting list. All registrations will be grouped by attendance zone and students will be selected through this draw system until all prekindergarten slots are filled in each attendance zone. All drawing results will be communicated via email.
Walton County currently has two prekindergarten classes in eight of the nine elementary schools, and three classes in Loganville Elementary School. Each class seats 22 students.  To confirm your attendance zone, click here. Eligible students must turn 4 years on or before Sept. 1, 2019.
The Curriculum can be viewed at HighScope) or Visit www.decal.ga.gov for more information on Bright from the Start, their programs and other resources. Click or tap on this link for more information or to register.
