“I was born in Puerto Rico with a Spanish background and there I earned my medical degree in 2001. I traveled to New York, finishing my residency in the field of obstetrician and gynecology and became Dr. Meribelle Verdiales-OB/GYN. I am also a surgeon so my service to my patients is well rounded,” Verdiales said.
Restaura Health, located at 924 W. Spring Street in Monroe, is a many-faceted health facility serving not only Walton County but the Southeast as well. It was founded in 2010 by Dr. Meribelle Verdiales.
For personal reasons, Dr. Verdiales or “Dr.V” as she is affectionately called by her patients, decided to move south and settled in Monroe. She founded Restaura Health and, in addition to her degree in gynecology, offers additional doctors services such as chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, medical treatment for skin conditions, nutritional counseling, natural supplements, and CBD oil.
“My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer and after having pursued all traditional treatments for cure with little result, he passed. After my husband’s death, I was determined to find a way to help others and I literally dove into the Holistic field earning my second degree in Naturopathy in June 2018,” she said. “People literally started knocking at my door because they wanted to get off medications and just feel better. We offer a whole program, lifestyle changes in diet, we treat mind, body, and soul. We find out what their difficulties are and look for the root of their problem.”
In addition to Restaura Health services, Verdiales recently partnered with CNY Fertility-founded by Dr. Robert J. Kiltz. CNY Fertility is a global leader for high quality, affordable fertility care. The offices are currently located in New York, Montreal and now Monroe (Atlanta).
“I am very excited to be a part of this great company. We currently offer the initial steps of diagnosis and just getting our patients ready for the final step, I.V.F. which is done in our New York offices. The cost of one treatment can be as high as $20,000+ each. CNY Fertility costs will be $4,500 per treatment and are many times covered by insurance,” Verdiales said, noting that this final step of the program from CNY Fertility will be available here in 2020-2021. “My mission statement is this; to endlessly seek how to improve myself spiritually, mentally and physically and share it with others.”
Verdiales is the mother of five beautiful daughters and currently lives in Monroe.
