Saturday Soiree with us!
November 7 from 10 – 4

FOUR workshops – great FUN ALL DAY for the entire family!!
So very happy to bring back our most popular tradition – Saturday Soirees! We haven’t held one since March and we know you’ve missed them.
Join us for family fun, hot cider and cookies! And don’t forget to browse for the best Christmas gifts around – made for you by over 50 of our artists and makers!

* pottery drop-in workshop
$15 – make two take one pottery angel ornament with Rebecca Braswell (one is left with us to raise funds for our Art MD healing art kits) – appropriate for ALL ages – littles will need a grown-up’s help – drop in anytime between 11 am – 4 pm 

* woodturning drop-in workshop
$15 – make a simple “woodturning 101” Christmas tree ornament – adults and mature teens 16+ – drop in on the hour at 10, 11, 12, 1, 2 or 3 for expert instruction by Todd Tetterton 

* beaded bracelets by Julie Bell
$10 for the first one, additional bracelets are just $5 each. Email Julie to reserve your spot from 10 am – 4 pm.  Fun for all ages!

AND
* Paint and Pizza Party for the kids age 6+

$25 – workshop is from 12 – 2 pm with Donna Coffman – see separate event listing below for the cute owl painting they will do! Email Donna to register and pay.

Details for Adult classes can be found HERE on our website.  Teens 16+ are welcome in most of our Adult Classes.  Register at least 24 hours in advance.  Space is limited and classes may fill early.NEW CLASS (example above)
Introduction to landscape painting with Joe Gargasz: 
Tuesdays at 6:30 – 8 pm for five weeks: 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8

Introduction to Woodturning: Pen Making with Todd Tetterton
Saturday, November 14 from 9am – noon: In this class you will be provided with the tools, equipment and instruction to allow you to use your creative talents to fashion a pen and pencil set that you will be proud to show your friends and say, “I made this!”

Friday, November 20 at 7pm – Email Donna to RSVP and get on her “education” email list for advance notice of classes – painting: whimsical owl – see below!

POTTERY with Rebecca Braswell:Wednesdays from 6 – 7:30pm andThursday (full!) and Friday mornings from 10 – 11:30am

Six week beginner pottery course: Next course starts December 1. Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm.  Register by emailing Rebecca no classes will be held Thanksgiving week (Nov 23-28)

KNITTING with Sandy Blanchard:
First and Third Wednesdays from 12:30 – 1:30

ANNUAL MEMBERS’ MEETING
Sunday, November 15 from 4 – 5 pm


We invite all our current MEMBERS to our Annual Members’ Meeting on Sunday, Nov 15 from 4 – 5 pm.

Business to cover:
1) Approval of two officers to fill interim spots on our board. Joe Gargasz (current president) has appointed these:

2) Budget will be presented by our treasurer, Nancy Moate
3) Hear about our strategic plan and goals
4) Find out ways you can get involved
5) Meet the board, Q & A session

And some great fellowship time too! Light refreshments served.
