If you’re heading to Walmart on July 27 you have an opportunity to assist the Student Success Alliance of Walton County and Walmart in helping return local students to school fully prepared for the upcoming school year. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 27 there will be a “Fill the Bus” event at the Monroe and Loganville Walmart stores.
“Volunteers from Rotary, Monroe Junior Woman’s Club, Walton County Youth Advisory Board, the SSA Board and Walmart DC associates will distrivbute wish lists in front of the store asking customers to purchase supplies to donate,” said Angela Yarman, executive director of the SSA. “Items will be distributed to all schools in Walton County. Student in need can receive supplies from their Student Success Alliance Site Coordinator or School Counselor at school.”
