The 8th Annual Craft Beer Festival to benefit the Grayson Children’s Fund
GRAYSON, GA –Grayson Blues & Brews brings the taste of some of the region’s most innovative craft beers to Gwinnett and phenomenal music to Grayson Community Park each October. We’re proud to host Georgia’s finest musicians for a big time in our small town. It’s an amazing afternoon each year, making it easy to understand why Blues & Brews is voted Gwinnett’s Best Festival for 2014, 2015, and 2016.
On Saturday, October 21, The Sweet Tea Project with Ed Roland (Collective Soul) will take the stage in Grayson. The Atlanta-based band is more than simply a magical, engaging one off project from Collective Soul, The Sweet Tea Project is evolving into a powerhouse recording and touring unit. Fans can look forward to a second album, Alder Lane Farm, slated for release on October 6, 2017.
The music starts at 2:30 with The Stir, a band with roots found in the harder side of classic rock. The Stir is an exciting band recording out of Madison Records, in Atlanta, and shared the stage with bands such as Collective Soul, The Sweet Tea Project, Bad Company, Jeff Carlisi (.38 Special), Fozzy, and Better than Ezra.
The 2017 Blues & Brews Festival, presented by Precision Planning, Inc. and Red Hare Brewing, will showcase more than 125 brews to sample throughout the day, with many that are brewed in Georgia vying for “Best of Show,” “Best Seasonal,” and “People’s Choice” awards.
