Today is the last day to register to vote in the Georgia primary

Georgia’s primary takes place March 24, and early voting will begin next week, on March 2. In order to vote, you must be registered and if you haven’t registered yet today, Monday, 24, 2020 is the last day to register.

You do not have to go to the county elections office to register. You can register online, by clicking here. If you’re already registered, the Secretary of State Office suggests that you visit the website Monday to make sure that all of your information is correct. If something is wrong, you will still have time to resubmit the correct application.

Once registered, you’ll be ready to vote.

The Presidential Primary Election will take place at regular voting precincts on March 24, 2020. However, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday from March 2 to March 20 and on Saturday, March 14, voters can cast early ballots at Meridian Park in the Loganville area. In the past, Loganville residents had to go to the Government Buildings on Hammond Drive if they wanted to vote early.
