Bill Wise, shelter manager and rescue coordinator at Walton County Animal Control, is seeking homes for two dogs recently turned into the shelter. Gypsy was turned in by her owner who is moving and can’t take her along.

Meds: 5/22/20 heartworm positive (low antigens), distemper/parvo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, pyrantal deworm, Adams flea spray
Note: owner surrender turned in 5/22/20. “Gypsy” seems to be a sweet and affectionate girl. Right away she was wagging her tail and doing well with shelter staff. Her owner adopted her a year ago from another shelter, but said she was moving and couldn’t take Gypsy along. She has already been spayed. Her owner said she is housebroken, good with kids and other dogs.

Note: owner surrender turned in 5/22/20. “Athena” is a medium-sized young pup. Her owner said she “wouldn’t stay in the fence” and neighbors were complaining. She was a little nervous at first but is fine with handling. She warmed up to me in a very short time. She lived in a house with children and another dog.  Apply today!
