Lazarus Vintage of Monroe is hosting an upcoming free music and art festival located at their boutique on Friday, June 28th. Located inside the downtown Monroe area, the artist market will begin at 5 p.m., and live music starts at 6 p.m. They will present 4 local bands, over 20 handmade artists and vintage dealers, as well as poetry readings by local students from the Georgia Writer’s Project. Cheeleys of Monroe will also be vending with delicious choices for dinner. Festival-goers are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and drink coolers (open container is allowed within downtown) to use while they enjoy the spread of vintage vendors and local artists.
