Update: House fire destroys home on Ray Road in Loganville

No injuries reported in the fire

Update

Robbie Schwartz with the City of Loganville reported that fire personnel responded to the report of a house fire at 3:38 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 at 158 Ray Road in the City of Loganville.

“Firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames upon arrival at the scene,” Schwartz said. “No one was at home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.”

Schwartz said the home is a total loss as a result of the fire. He said an investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.

Crews from the City of Loganville Fire Department and Walton County Fire Rescue are on the scene of a working house fire on Ray Road in the City of Loganville, according to WCFR Assistant Chief Craig League.
