Tuesday, MAB Development announced the first five retailers slated to join Publix at the Monroe Pavilion scheduled to begin development in the first quarter of this year. Ulta Beauty, Ross, Marshalls, Rack Room Shoes and Five Below have committed to bringing retails stores to the development off Charlotte Rowell Boulevard in Monroe. According to John Argo, president of MAB Development, Monroe Pavilion is expected to open in 2021. Groundbreaking on the development is expected sometime in the first quarter of this year.

ATLANTA (November 14, 2019) – MAB American, LLC (MAB) announced Thursday that Publix has signed a lease to anchor Monroe Pavilion with plans to open a 48,387-square-foot store. It will be located on 100 acres at US 78, GA HWY 138 and GA 11 and is known as Monroe Pavilion. This center is is slated to open in 2021 with a groundbreaking planned for the first quarter of 2020. Total investment for the entire 350,000-square-foot project will exceed $80 million.

Monroe Pavilion currently features site commitments for 150,000 square feet of big-box anchor store, including Publix, two fashion merchants, a beauty chain and other retailers selling shoes, pet supplies, sporting goods and popular-priced general merchandise.
