Update: Victim in fatal car accident in Walnut Grove identified as 22-year-old from Loganville

Georgia State Patrol has identified the victim in the car accident on Wednesday morning as Dillion Michael Kalemba, 22, of Loganville. According to GSP, the single-vehicle accident occurred around 1:19 a.m. on Nov 7.  Early indications are that he was driving a 1996 Ford F-150 southbound on Guthrie Cemetery Road, negotiating a curve, when he lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn. Kalemba was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, Harleigh Conley, 19, of Oxford, sustained minor injuries. The accident is still under investigation.

The Georgia State Patrol Post in Walton County confirmed that an accident that happened in the Walnut Grove area in the early morning hours of Wednesday morning, Nov. 7, resulted in a fatality. The accident happened at 4909 Guthrie Cemetery Road.

This is the third person to die in a vehicular accident in Walton County in little more than a week. Chealse Lockhart, 17, and Ashley Renee Allen died on Oct. 31, 2018, when their vehicles collided on Highway 186 in Good Hope.
