Loganville officials say the car that rammed X3 Firearms gun shop in Loganville on Friday morning was a Grand Marquis that was reportedly stolen from the Mews apartment complex.

“The getaway car was a silver Crown Vic that did not have hubcaps. The suspect was wearing a hoodie, but was believed to be a black man, 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build,” said Robbie Schwartz, spokesman for the City of Loganville.

Officials are currently attempting to get surveilance footage to share with the public,.

Following an early morning vehicle penetration and theft of firearms at X3 Firearms gun shop in Loganville early Friday morning, the store has been patched and secured with a rollup door as the investigation continues.

Initial story

Loganville Police Department is investigating an early morning incident at the X3 Firearms in the Faith Crossing Shopping Center in Loganville.

“Initial reports are a stolen car was driven through the front of the store at about 5 a.m. causing significant damage to the store,” said Robbie Schwartz, spokesman for the City of Loganville. “A black male entered the store and several firearms were reportedly stolen.”

Swartz said a second suspect waiting nearby in a getaway car. He said this is very early in the investigation and no other details are available at this time.
