WCS0 Alerts: Arrests made in one of several weekend burglaries

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, Oct. 11 – Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 11, 2019

Zone 2

Arrest- A 65-year-old Madison, Ga. man was arrested for Driving under the Influence following a suspicious vehicle call.

Zone 7

Found Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Emerald Drive in reference to complainant reporting a guitar amplifier found on location. Taken into property at Walton County Sheriff’s Department.

Lost Item Report Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeside Boulevard in reference to complainant reporting some miscellaneous items were missing from the location. Possibly, occurred between this year April 1st and Friday, October 11th.

Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019

Zone 6

Fraud Report- Deputies took a report at a residence on North Sharon Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an individual claiming to be with the Federal Government Grant Program attempting to gain personal information.

Arrest- A 41-year-old resident of Conyers, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Karlee Boulevard following a suspicious vehicle call.

Arrest- A 24-year-old resident of Decatur, Ga. was arrested in the area of Georgia 20 and Creekwood Trail for Driving under the Influence following an accident.

Zone 7

Arrest-  A 23-year-old man from Marietta, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and The Alcovy River for Driving under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019

Zone 3

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a Church on Pannell Road in reference to complainant reporting the location was entered and a computer was taken. Walton County Sheriff’s Departments Criminal Investigations/Crime Scene Division responded.

Zone 5

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 11 in reference to complainant reporting several storage units entered and numerous items taken from location. Items were later located near the location and several arrest were made.

Zone 6

Burglary­- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an individual entered the location and took a computer with hard drive. No forced entry.

Zone 7

Arrest- A 63-year-old woman from Loganville, Ga. was arrested at a residence on New Horizon Drive for Terroristic Threats following a domestic dispute call.
