WCSO Alerts: 3 instances of hit and run; of a car, a fence and a brush line

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 2

Citation- One individual was cited/warned at a residence in the area of Cole Drive for Criminal Trespass following being on location without permission.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Christine Dalrymple was arrested in the area of John Deere Road for Possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

Suspicious Persons- Deputies responded to the area of High Point Ridge in Forest Ridge Subdivision in reference to complainant reporting three unknown males dressed in dark clothing walking around in the area around 4:15pm. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had on contact.

ZONE 5

Hit and Run- Deputies responded to the area of Bay Creek Church Road and Old Zion Cemetery Road in reference to a two vehicle accident where one motorist fled the scene. Complainant reported an unknown male motorist in a burgundy in color 2000s model GMC Yukon struck the rear of complainant’s vehicle around 7:20am and fled the scene. No known injuries reported. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with the vehicle.

ZONE 6

Damage to Property- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Harrison Shoals Road in reference complainant reporting an unknown motorist striking their fence causing damage around 4:00pm.

Damage to Property- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Wilmington Way in reference to complainant reporting an unknown motorist leaving the roadway and causing damage to their brush line on their property around 2:00pm
