The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, April 25, to Sunday, April 28, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Thursday, April 25, 2019

Zone 3

Property Damage- Deputies took a report at a residence on Anna Marie Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual shot the complainant’s vehicle with a BB Gun causing damage sometime between 4:00pm April 24th and 11:20 am April 25th.

Zone 6

Arrest- Brandon Pressley was arrested in the area of Centerhill Church Road and Guthrie Cemetery Road for an outstanding warrant out of Loganville Police Department following a traffic stop.

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Rabbit Farm Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took the complainant’s orange in color Husqvarna Zero Turn Lawn Mower sometime between 12:00 am and 2:30 pm April 24th. The lawn mower was placed national database as stolen.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Kristen Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaged the complainant’s mailbox sometime between 5:00 pm April 24th and 6:00 pm April 25th.

Zone 5

Arrest- Anthony Bennett was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Troy Smith Road for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and a Brake Light Violation following a traffic stop.

Saturday, April 27, 2019

Zone 1

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Pratt Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took to complainants green in color Polaris Sportsman sometime between 7:00 pm April 26th and 5:00 pm April 27th. Vehicle was placed on the National Database as stolen.

Vehicle Pursuit- Deputies were involved with a vehicle pursuit with a black in color motorcycle in the area of Walnut Grove Jersey Road and Hightower Ridge Road. The vehicle crashed into the wood line in the area of Hightower Trail.

Zone 3

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Old Monroe Madison Highway in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaged the complainant’s mailbox sometime between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm April 27th.

Zone 5

Hit and Run Accident- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 11 and Shoal Creek Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual struck the complainant’s vehicle around 12:00 pm and fled the scene in a silver in color Chrysler Minivan.

Zone 6

Arrest- Antonio Stanford was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Broadnax Mill Road for an outstanding Parole Violation warrant following a traffic stop.
