WCSO Alerts: Arrests include aggravated assault and battery

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents for Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018. Please note a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 1

Arrest- Scotty Connella was arrested in the area of Ammons Bridge Road for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Monroe Police Department following a suspicious person call.

Arrest- Kevin Phelps was arrested at a residence on Twin Pines Road for outstanding warrants out of Walton County for two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Battery, and Simple Battery.

ZONE 2

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on H D Atha Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual making several purchases out of their business account.

ZONE 3

Arrest- Courtney Thurman was arrested in the area of Pannell Road and Pleasant Valley Road for Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Pledge Keeley was arrested in the area of Highway 83 and High Shoals Road for Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Snows Mill Road and Locklin Cemetery Road in reference to a complaint of an unknown motorist in a Ford F150 reportedly driving up and down Locklin Cemetery Road throwing out trash. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact.

ZONE 4

Arrest- James McDougal was arrested in the area of Gratis Road near Jackson Funeral Home for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious person call.

ZONE 6

Scam- Deputies took a report at residence on Centerhill Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown caller claiming to be with the IRS was going to arrest them if they didn’t pay a fine.

Arrest- Enowshka Jones was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Youth Monroe Road for Failure to Maintain Lane, Speeding, Obstruction of an Officer, Driving While Unlicensed, Improper Use of Turn Signal, and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.
