WCSO Alerts: Burglaries, thefts, entering autos and slew of arrests during traffic stops

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, Oct. 1 to Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020

ZONE 1
 
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Lake Shore Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s residence sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 1st and took several items.
 
ZONE 3
 
Arrest- A 37-year-old Monroe woman was arrested in the area of Unisia Drive and Piedmont Parkway for an outstanding warrant out of Ware County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 7
 
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Kent Rock Road in reference to an unknown individual entering the complainant residence and taking several items. 

Friday, Oct. 2, 2020

ZONE 3
 
Arrest- A 39-year-old Buckhead man was arrested in the area of Mount Vernon Road near The Store for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 6
 
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Creekwood Trail in reference to an ongoing issue with vehicles speeding through the area throughout the day.
 
Arrest- A 49-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Youth Monroe Road for Battery and Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree following a dispute.
 
Arrest- A 33-year-old Stone Mountain man was arrested in the area of Highway 20 near of Coparts for an outstanding warrant out of Snellville following a traffic stop. 

Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020

ZONE 3
 
Theft Report- Deputies took a report at a residence on Dogwood Trail in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took two backpack yard blowers from the residence sometime between 11 am Oct. 2 and 1:30pm Oct. 3. Yard equipment was placed on the National Database as stolen.
 
ZONE 5
 
Arrest- A 49-year-old Bethlehem resident was arrested in the area of Bold Springs Road for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.
 
Arrest- A 48-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Richmond Meadow Court for an outstanding warrant out of Fulton County. 

Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020

ZONE 4
 
Arrest- A 42-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on John Deere Road for an outstanding warrant out of Winder.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 41-year-old Covington woman was arrested in the area of Highway 20 near Coparts for Failure to Maintain Lane, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Heroin with Intent to Distribute following a traffic stop. 

Monday, Octo. 5, 2020

ZONE 1
 
Arrest- A 17-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Nunnally Farm Road for Possession of a Firearm Under the 18 following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 4
 
Arrest- A 45-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Gratis Road for Sexual Battery and Tampering with Evidence following a dispute.
 
ZONE 5
 
Arrest- A 28-year-old man 21-year-old woman from South Carolina were arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Walker Park Drive following a traffic stop. The man was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Spartanburg, SC. and the woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Anderson, SC. 

ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 62-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Highway 20 near the Citgo for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 7
 
Attempted Burglary- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Jewel Ridge Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual opening the complainant’s garage door while they were home around 3:40 pm. Complainant reporting the individual fled the scene when the complainant confronted them. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.
 
Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Brookview Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown motorist in a light colored passenger vehicle struck the complainant’s mailbox around 5:50pm. 

Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020
 
ZONE 4
 
Arrest- A 47-year-old Monroe resident was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious person call.
 
Arrest- A 33-year-old Monroe man a 35-year-old Monroe woman were arrested in the area of Highway 11 near the Allstar Gas Station following a traffic stop. The man was arrested for Possession of Schedule II Drugs and Possession of Drug Related Objects. The woman was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County. 

ZONE 5
 
Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Grady Smith Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaged the complainant mailbox sometime between 8 pm Oct. 5 and 10:45 am Oct. 6. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident. 

Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020

ZONE 1
 
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Creekside Trace in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took several items sometime overnight.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 38-year-old an 18-year old Loganville were arrested in the area of Highway 81 near Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church following a traffic stop. The 38-year-old was arrested for possession of THC Oil, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Ambien, Possession of Clonazepam, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Related Objects. The 18-year-old was arrested for Possession of THC Oil, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Ambien, Possession of Clonazepam, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Related Objects 
 
Arrest- A 32-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Gum Creek Church Road for Reckless Conduct following a dispute.
 
ZONE 7
 
Arrest- A 62-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Spring Court for Battery and Terroristic Threats and Acts following a dispute.
 
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Stewart Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered two of the complainants unlocked vehicles and took several items sometime between 9:00pm October 6th and 6:30pm October 7th.
