Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, until Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

November 8, 2018

ZONE 6

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Round Rock Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual used the complainant’s bank information to make a purchase.

Arrest- Jason Cono was arrested in the area of Green Road and Creek View Circle for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Kelly Calmes was arrested at a residence on Youth Monroe Road for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County Police Department.

Citation- Two individuals were cited at a residence on Greens Mill Way one for Disorderly Conduct and one for Driving While License Suspended.

ZONE 1

Fraud- Deputies took a report at the Walnut Grove Precinct on Walnut Avenue in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual contacted them via phone claiming to be with the US Marshalls requesting the complainant pay $1,000 to get out of an arrest warrant.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on H D Atha Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaging complainant’s vehicle sometime between 7:00 am September 5th and 11:30 am November 9th.

Shoplifting- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 138 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual(s) took items from the business without paying sometime around 3:00 pm.

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Hightower Ridge Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took their silver in color Nissan pickup truck sometime between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Arrest- Adrian Pierce was arrested at a residence on Hightower Trial for an outstanding warrant out of Snellville Police Department.

ZONE 5

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a business in the area of Walker Park Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaged their vehicle sometime around 1:20 pm while the complaints vehicle was parked at the business.

ZONE 6

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on New Hope Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual contacted them via telephone claiming to be with the District Attorney’s Office requesting the complainant pay them for a bond.

Arrest- Devaughn Kilgore and Nickolas Harris were arrested in the area of Wanda Court following two hit and run accidents with no known injuries.

  • Devaughn Kilgore was arrested for two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving Under the Influence, and Following Too Close.
  • Nickolas Harris was arrested for two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.

Hit and Run- Deputies responded to an area of Highway 20 near Centerhill Baptist Church in reference to complainant reporting their vehicle was struck was a gray in color Kia passenger vehicle that then fled the scene aro3:40 pm.0pm.

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Miller Bottom Road and Victoria Park Drive for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Unsecure Premise- Deputies took a report at a residence on Shoal Creek Road in reference to a complainant reporting an unknown individual attempted to gain forced entry on location sometime between 9:00 pm November 9th and 6:00 am November 10th, but nothing appeared to be missing.

ZONE 5

Burglary Attempt- Deputies responded to a residence on Mountain Creek Church Road in reference to complainant reporting the door to their residence was opened around 8:45 pm. Deputies checked the residence, but no one was on location and nothing appeared to be missing.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Oluseun Olukoju was arrested in the area of Emmett Still Road for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Contraband Across Guard Line following a suspicious vehicle call.

CITY OF MONROE

Arrest- Kristoffer Owensby was arrested in the area of West Spring Street and South Jackson Street for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Jessica Wood was arrested in the area of West Spring Street and South Jackson Street for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Child Endangerment following a traffic stop.

ZONE 3

Arrest- Melissa Bennett was arrested in the area of Monroe Highway for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.

ZONE 5

Citation/Trespassing- Two individuals were cited in the area of Roscoe Davis Road for Criminal Trespass following being found hunting on location without permission.

ZONE 6

Arrest- Jessica Burke was arrested at a residence on Stoney Creek Court for Battery following a dispute.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Darryl Whitehead was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Miller Bottom Road for and outstanding warrant out of Conyers Police Department following a traffic stop.
