WCSO Alerts: Burglary, scam, theft, auto theft and damage to property

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 4

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Kirk Road in reference to complainant reporting their vehicle alarm going off around 5:30am and the complainant observed damage to the door frame of their vehicle.

Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Partain Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual contacting them via telephone claiming the complainant had won money, but they had to pay a fee to receive it.

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Mountain Creek Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering their residence and taking several items sometime between 7am and 1:30pm.

ZONE 5

Arrest- James Hardeman IV was arrested at a residence on Bold Springs Road for an outstanding warrant out of Dekalb County.

Theft- Deputies took a report at a business on Still Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking items from the business sometime around 12am.

ZONE 6

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 20 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking a Jeep Wrangler sometime between 8am on July 25th and 8am on August 21stVehicle was placed on the National Database as stolen.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Katlyn Christian was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue and Walnut Grove Parkway for Driving While Unlicensed and Speeding following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Tambra Joyner was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue and Forrester Cemetery Road for Driving Under the Influence and an outstanding warrant out of Athens-Clarke County following a traffic stop.
