The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, to Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. Please note a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Friday, Nov. 2, 2018
Fraud- Deputies took a report at the Shell Gas Station on Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual placed a card reader on one of the gas pumps. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division removed the card reader and are investigating the incident.
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Dean Hill Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking several items from the residence sometime between 7:30 pm on November 1st and 8:30 am on November 2nd.
Arrest- Terry Lambert was arrested at a residence on Harry Arnold Road for an outstanding warrant out of Hall County.
Arrest- Betty Bennett-Buckhout was arrested at a residence on Highway 81 for Disorderly Conduct following multiple call outs.
Stolen Trailer- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 20 in reference to complainant reporting several unknown individuals in a silver in color pickup truck took a trailer loaded with equipment from the location around 4:40 am. Trailer placed on the national database as stolen.
Arrest- Lisa Brown was arrested in the area of Highway 138 for an outstanding warrant out of Conyers Police Department following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Quamette Barr was arrested in the area of Pleasant Valley Road for Driving While License Suspended and an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant out of Walton County following a single vehicle accident with a deer.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 81 and Gum Creek Church Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check.

- Leonidas Garcia was arrested for Driving While Unlicensed.

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Miranda Drive in reference to complainant reporting two unknown males walking around the complainant’s residence around 3:15 pm, but fled the area prior to deputy’s arrival. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the day and night time hours in reference to a complainant of unknown individuals walking around residences in the area.
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Queens Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took the tag off the complainant’s vehicle sometime between 10 pm November 3rd and 9 am November 4th. Tag placed on the national database as stolen.
Citation- One individual was cited at a residence on Laboon Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.
Arrest- Randy Jones and Stephanie Peifer were arrested in the area of Highway 11 and New Beginnings following a traffic stop.
- Randy Jones was arrested for Taillight Violation, No Tag, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
- Stephanie Peifer was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Arrest- Sheila Saginar was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Mountain Creek Church Road for an outstanding warrant out of Monroe Police Department following a traffic stop.
Arrest- Jeremy Duvall was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Creekwood Drive for Driving Under the Influence, Fleeing to Elude, Open Container, and Speeding following a traffic stop.
