The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for the period Thursday, July 13 -Friday, July 14, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Stolen Vehicle: Deputies took a report at a residence on Poplar Ridge Drive in reference to an unknown individual taking complainant’s unlocked 1999 black Toyota vehicle with keys inside. Vehicle was placed on the national database as stolen.

Recovered Vehicle: Deputies responded to a residence on Creek View Drive in Mill Creek subdivision in reference to a black 1999 Toyota vehicle found on location.

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Poplar Oaks Terrace in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and rummaging through items, nothing was taken. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Wild Turkey Trail in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and rummaging through items, nothing was taken. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Poplar Ridge Drive in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking a firearm. Firearm was placed on the national database as stolen. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

ZONE 4

 Arrest: Perry Turner was arrested on Mountain Creek Church Road for Possession of Controlled Substance, Driving without a License, and a Seat Belt Violation following a traffic stop.

Arrest: Jamie Toole was arrested on Mountain Creek Church Road for Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Schedule II Drugs following a traffic stop.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 78 and George L. Pike Parkway. Non-life threatening injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to a complaint at a residence on Michael Road in reference to an unknown individual shaking complainant’s exterior gate and leaving. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact.

ZONE 5

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Cumberland Trail in reference to unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking a GPS and a book bag. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

Stolen Vehicle: Deputies took a report at a residence on Cumberland Trail in reference to an unknown individual taking complainant’s locked 2014 gray Chevrolet Equinox. Vehicle was recovered on South Madison Avenue.

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Providence Club Drive in the Providence Club subdivision in reference to an unknown individual entering two of complainant’s unlocked vehicles and rummaging through items, nothing taken. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified.

Found Property: Deputies responded to a residence on Providence Club Drive in Providence Club subdivision in reference to a garage door opener found on location. Possibly from one of the multiple Entering Autos in the area.

Entering Auto: Deputies responded to a residence on Sandra Way in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking wallet and a firearm. Firearm was entered on the national database as stolen.

ZONE 6

Vehicle  Accident: Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 20 and Creekwood Drive. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

ZONE 7

Threats: Deputies took a walk in report at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office west precinct in reference to complainant receiving threatening text messages from an unknown person.

Theft Report: Deputies took a report at a residence on Hawkins Academy Road in reference to an unknown individual taking complainant’s horse.

ZONE 3

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 78 and Unisia Drive. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to two vehicle accident on Poplar Lane. No known injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene of the accident.

Arrest: Michael Bass was arrested at a residence on Etchinson Road for Battery and Family Violence following a domestic dispute.

ZONE 6

Damage to Property: Deputies took a report at the West Walton Park on Twin Lakes Road in reference to an unknown person attempting to enter the concession stand, entry was not made. Deputies thoroughly checked area, no contact.

Prowler: Deputies responded to a residence on Youth Monroe Road in reference to an unknown individual ringing complainant’s doorbell and leaving. Deputies thoroughly checked the scene, no contact.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 78. Non-life threatening injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Burglary: Deputies took a report at a residence on By Pass Road in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s barn taking wood from the building and several items.
