The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for the period Thursday Nov. 9 to Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017

ZONE 1

ZONE 3

Arrest- Contraves Smith was arrested in the area of Mount Paron Church Road for Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Durante Williams was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County, an outstanding warrant out of Winder Police Department, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Tara Click was arrested in Barrow County for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County for Failure to Appear.

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Piney Grove Road in reference to an unknown individual taking a John Deere Gator from complainant’s residence.

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Tom Brewer Road in reference to an unknown individual taking one of complainant’s checks and withdrawing money out of their account.

Arrest- Chadwick Gunnin was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Rowe Road for an outstanding warrant out of Conyers Police Department following a traffic stop.

ZONE 6

Lost Item- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 78 in reference to complainant not being able to locate one of their vehicle tags. Tag was placed on the national database as stolen/missing.

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a residence on Waterford Court in reference to an unknown individual opening a credit card in complainant’s name.

ZONE 7

Dispute- Deputies took a report at a residence on New Horizon Drive in reference to an unknown individual going to complainant’s residence and trying to claim their canine as theirs. Individual was gone prior to deputies arrival.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Broadnax Mill Road in reference to an ongoing issue with an unknown motorist in a black lifted pickup truck speeding and driving recklessly in the area.

ZONE 1

Arrest- Jacob Crowe was arrested at a residence on Claiborne Way for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a dispute.

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 78 and Jacks Creek Road for Open Container following a traffic stop. Deputies checked motorist for impairments prior to release.

Arrest- Joel Whitsel was arrested at a residence on Roscoe Davis Road for Terrorist Threats/Acts, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Aggressive Driving following a dispute the occurred on the roadway.

Juvenile Problem- Deputies responded to Corndawgs Corn Maze in the area of Highway 81 in reference to a report of several juveniles on location after hours and past curfew. Deputies made contact with three juveniles on location and two juveniles fled the scene on foot. Deputies thoroughly checked the area for the juveniles, but had no contact. Other juveniles were turned over to their parents.

ZONE 1

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Nunnally Farm Road in reference to an unknown individual damaging complainants mailbox.

Arrest- Jose Rodriguez was arrested at a residence on Luanne Way for Possession of a Firearm Under 18 and Reckless Conduct following a dispute.

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 11 and Tanglewood for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Scam- Deputies took a report at a residence on Rabbit Farm Road in reference to complainant receiving phone calls from an unknown individual claiming to be with Microsoft and requesting money.

Arrest- Craig Jernigan was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Tom Brewer Road for Driving While Under the Influence and Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Sarah Coe and Scott Madden were arrested in the area of Highway 78 and James Huff Road following a traffic stop. Sarah Coe was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects. Scott Madden was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

ZONE 4

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Broach Road in reference to an ongoing issue with an unknown individual on a four wheeler driving around in the area. Complainant reported individual may possibly be trying to hunt in the area due to hearing gun shots. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Parker Drive in reference to an unknown individual damaging complainant’s tool box and their residence by what appeared to be pry marks in what seemed to be an attempt to gain entry.

ZONE 5

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highway 11 in reference to an unknown individual tampering with items at a residence in the area.

ZONE 6

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 81 and Karlee Boulevard for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop. Motorist was picked up from the scene.

Arrest- Jesus Rivera was arrested at a residence on Milton Bryan Drive for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County for Terroristic Threats.

ZONE 7

Theft- Deputies took a report at a business on Leone Avenue in reference to an unknown male taking excess money from the business when requesting change.
