WCSO Alerts: Entering auto thefts, business theft and 3 tires of vehicle punctured

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Monday, May 21, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, May 21, 2018

ZONE 1

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Michael Etchison Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered two unlocked vehicles on location and took several items sometime between 1:00am and 5:00am. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

ZONE 2

Theft- Deputies took a report at a Power Plant on Social Circle Fairplay Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the business sometime between late March to early April and this date, May 21st.

Arrest- Tammy Dabbs was arrested at Highway 11 Truck Stop for Giving False Name to Officers and an outstanding warrant out of Cobb County following being on location after hours.

ZONE 3

Citation­- One motorist was cited in the area of Harry Arnold Road near Simmeron Mobile Home Park for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bearden Road at the Bridge. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria:  valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:

  • Jose Rodriguez was arrested for Driving While Unlicensed.

ZONE 4

Arrest- Cheyanne Rutherford was arrested in the area of Highway 11 near Just for Fun Auto Sales for Possession of Methamphetamine following a Suspicious Person call.

ZONE 6

Arrest- Kevin Womack was arrested in the area of McCullers Road and Pointer Road for an outstanding warrant out of Snellville Police Department following a traffic stop.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bearden Road at the Bridge. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria:  valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:

  • Megan Rawls was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnet County Police Department.

ZONE 7

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Nunnally Way in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual had punctured three of the tires on the complainant’s vehicle sometime between 7:00pm on May 20th and 6:45am on May 21st.

Arrest- Jason Doyle was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue and Leone Avenue for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop
