WCSO Alerts: Entering autos, thefts and traffic stops result in slew of arrests

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents for the period Sunday, Nov. 1 – Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020
 
ZONE 3
 
Arrest- A 46-year-old Monroe manwas arrested in the area of Good Hope Road and Unisia Drive for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant, Driving While Unlicensed, and No Tag following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 55-year-old Loganville man and a 54-year-old Loganville woman were arrested at a residence on Stoney Creek Court following a dispute. The man was arrested for Simple Battery and the woman was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant 

ZONE 7
 
Arrest- A 33-year-old Dalton man was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Old Highway 138 for an outstanding Parole Violation warrant following a traffic stop. 

Monday, Nov. 2, 2020
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 29-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Broadnax Mill Road for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane following a traffic stop. 

Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Entering Auto- Deputies responded to a residence on Rao Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual in dark clothing and gray beanie hat was attempting to enter the complainant’s vehicle around 7:00pm, but the individual fled the area when they were confronted. Walton County Sheriff’s Office K9 responded to the scene. The Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
 
ZONE 3
 
Theft- Deputies took a report a residence on Stanley Christian Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the complainants residence sometime between October 28th and November 3rd.
 
Arrest- A 41-year-old Athens man was arrested at a business, The Store, on Highway 78 for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a Suspicious Person call.
  
ZONE 5
 
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Spring Hill Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took parts from the complainants vehicle sometime between October 15th and October 28th.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 34-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a business, the Shell Gas Station, on Claude Brewer Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a Suspicious Person call. 

Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Rao Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took items sometime between 7:00pm Nov. 3 and 5:00pm Nov. 4.
 
Arrest- A 30-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a business, The Shell Gas Station, on H D Atha Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 5
 
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Carriage Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking numerous items sometime between 5:00pm November 3rd and 10:30am November 4th. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division investigating the incident.
 
ZONE 6
 
Arrest- A 48-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Highway 20 for Criminal Trespass, Home Invasion, Battery, Simple Assault, Public Drunkeness, Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree, and Criminal Interference with Government Property following a dispute in the neighborhood. 

Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020
 
ZONE 1
 
Arrest- Jerediah Thompson (40 of Oxford) was arrested in the area of Youth Jersey Road and Monroe Jersey Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
 
ZONE 3
 
Arrest- Antonio Sullivan (40 of Monroe) was arrested in the area of Good Hope Road near Church Street for an outstanding Contempt of Court warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
  
ZONE 4
 
Arrest- James Channell (30 of Greensboro) and Terry Davis (48 of Good Hope) were both arrested at a residence on Preston Road for outstanding Failure to Appear warrants out of Walton County.
 
ZONE 6
 
Agency Assist/Arrest- Deputies assisted Snellville Police Department with a vehicle pursuit and arrest in the area of Highway 78. A 47-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 following a vehicle pursuit that originated in Snellville and ended in Walton County following a single vehicle accident that was worked by Georgia State Patrol.
