The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts over the weekend Oct. 27 – 29, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 3

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jacks Creek Road and Snows Mill Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria:  valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrest or citations in reference to this safety check.

Arrest- Ansley Briscoe was arrested in the area of Atha Street and South Madison Avenue for Open Container following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Kalongi Vereen was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Nathan Boulevard for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County for Failure to Appear, Driving While License Suspended, and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Cedar Drive in reference to an unknown individual taking complainants Coleman Pop-up Camper. Camper was placed on the national database as stolen.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Ramon Lewis was arrested in the area of Highway 81 for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County following a traffic stop.

Fight- Deputies responded to the area of Emerald Drive in reference to a complainant of two males fighting on location. Both suspect fled prior to deputy’s arrival. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 1

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Downtown Jersey in reference to an unknown male wearing all black with a mask walking in the area. Deputies made contact with the individual and he was escorted from location.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Powers Road in reference to an unknown individual attempting to take complainant vehicle radio.

ZONE 4

ZONE 5

Disturbing the Peace- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Deep Wood Drive in reference to a Halloween party with too many individual on location. Homeowner advised deputies that there was not supposed to be so many people attending the event. Deputies checked all motorist for drug/alcohol use and released them to leave location.

ZONE 6

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 20 and Bailey Circle for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop for a headlight violation.

ZONE 7

Trespassing- Deputies responded to Corn Dawgs in the area of Leone Avenue in reference to several juveniles trespassing on location after hours. All juveniles were issues criminal trespass warnings and their parents were contacted to pick them up.

Hit and Run- Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bold Springs Road. No known injuries. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.
