The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, Jan. 24 to Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019
Arrest- Matthew Bryant was arrested at a residence on Bruch Creek Drive for Simple Assault and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.
Arrest- Jason Couch was arrested in the area of Highway 11 near Campton for Driving While License Suspended and an outstanding Deposit Account Fraud warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
Arrest- James Morris was arrested at a residence on Valley Drive for two counts of Battery, two counts of Reckless Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property in the 2nd Degree, and Cruelty to Children in the 3rd Degree following a dispute.
Arrest- Zachary Wolaver was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Park Street for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container following a traffic stop.
Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Old Highway 81 and Walnut Avenue for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Squirrel Hollow Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered their unlocked vehicle sometime overnight, but nothing appeared to be missing.
Arrest- Joshua Jones was arrested at a residence on Doster Avenue for Criminal Trespass following a dispute.
Hit and Run Accident- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 11 and Eliza Doster Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual in a dark in color passenger vehicle hitting the complainant and fleeing the scene around 8:30 pm. No life-threatening injuries reported. Accident worked by Georgia State Patrol.
Arrest- Stephen Johnson was arrested in the area of Plantation Park for Driving While Unlicensed following a suspicious vehicle call.
Arrest- Shambreka Johnson was arrested in the area of Bold Springs Road near the Allstar for an outstanding warrant out of Riverdale Police Department following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Willie Battle was arrested at a residence on Mountain Creek Church Road for two outstanding warrants out of Monroe Police Department.
