WCSO Alerts: Juveniles continue to trespass at the Rock Quarry in Loganville

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday, July 27, 2020 to Thursday, July 30, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, July 27, 2020

ZONE 3

Arrest- A 32-year-old Homer woman was arrested in the area of Cheek Road for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Arrest- A 25-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Hunters Crossing for two counts of Criminal Damage to Property and Cruelty to Children in the 2nd Degree. 

ZONE 1

Arrest- A 42-year-old Loganville resident was arrested in the area of Highway 138 for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Jefferson Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered their unlocked vehicle sometime overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing.

ZONE 5

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Calimont Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering an complainants residence and taking a firearm. Firearm was placed on the national database as stolen.

ZONE 7

Arrest- A 23-year-old Conyers resident was arrested at Conyers Police Department for five counts of Computer Theft and five counts of Theft by Taking out of Walton County. Conyers officers transported Weatherall to the county line and turned over to Walton County Deputies. 

Wednesday, July 29, 2020

ZONE 1

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Old Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took the complainants blue in color Chevy passenger vehicle sometime between 1:30am and 12:00pm. Vehicle was placed on the national database as stolen.

ZONE 2

Firearms Complaint- Deputies responded to the area of Conner Spur in reference to a complaint of an unknown individual discharging a firearm in the area around 12:30am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact.

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Arbor Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took several items from the residence sometime between July 21st and July 29th.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Parkway Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle sometime between 8:30pm July 28th and 9:00am July 29th. Nothing appeared to be missing.

ZONE 6

Arrest- A 39-year-old Covington man was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Karlee Boulevard for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Improper Tag, Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon following a traffic stop.

Trespassing- Deputies responded to a residence on Kristen Lane in reference to an ongoing issue with individuals riding ATVs on the complainant’s property.

ZONE 7

Arrest- A 38-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Broadnax Road and Youth Monroe Road for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a traffic stop.

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to Atha Road Elementary in reference to a complainant of several individuals on location around 9:00pm. Deputies made contact with juveniles on location and they were turned over to their parents. 

Thursday, July 30, 2020

ZONE 5

Trespassing- Deputies responded to the Rock Quarry in the area of Annslee Lakes Subdivision in reference to a complaint of several unknown juveniles on location around 2:50pm. Deputies made contact with the juveniles and they were given a verbal warning not to be on location unless accompanied by a resident.
