Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Monday, Oct. 30, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
CITY OF MONROE-
Agency Assist- Deputies assisted Monroe Police Department in the area of David Street and Milledge Avenue in reference to three juveniles allegedly pointing firearms at passerby vehicles. Deputies made contact with the juveniles and the firearms were fake/toy guns. Deputies contacted juvenile’s parents and they were picked up from location.
Arrest- Harlon Hamby was arrested at a business in the area of Highway 11 in reference to an outstanding warrant out of Jeff Davis County in reference to a suspicious persons call.
Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Piney Grove Road in reference to an unknown individual knocking complainant’s mailbox into the ditch.
Arrest- Jr Morris Lockhart was arrested at residence on Waterford Lane in reference to an outstanding warrant out of Athens Clarke County following a dispute.
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Hawthorne Trace in reference to an unknown individual taking complainant’s firearm. Firearm was placed on the national database as stolen.
Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Brookstone Estates Drive in reference to damage to complainant’s residence in what appeared to be an attempt to gain entry into the residence, but were unsuccessful.
