WCSO Alerts: Reports of 2 people going from door-to-door offering Tide promotion

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Awareness Crime Alerts for the period April 2 – 8, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Thursday, April 2, 2020

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 11 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking a trailer and welder from the residence sometime overnight. (These items have since been recovered). Both items entered on the National Database as stolen.

Friday, April 3, 2020

ZONE 3

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 78 in reference to an unknown individual taking the complainants red in color Toyota Tacoman pickup truck sometime overnight. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident. Vehicle placed on National Database as stolen.

ZONE 7

Arrest- A 33-year-old Lilburn resident was arrested by Gwinnett County Deputies in reference to an outstanding Driving Under the Influence citation out of Walton County.

Saturday, April 4, 2020

CITY OF MONROE

Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of South Broad Street for Driving While Unlicensed and Aggressive driving after being found on location doing donuts in a gravel parking lot.

ZONE 3

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Jones Woods Road in reference to a complainant of several individuals riding ATVs in the roadway around 5:00 PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 4

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to a residence on Bunk Tillman Road in reference to complainant reporting two unknown individuals attempting to steal items from the complainant’s residence. Complainant reported the suspects fled the scene when they were confronted by the complainant and fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact.

ZONE 5 

Explosives- Deputies responded to the area of Lower Tanners Bridge Road in reference to a complaint of gunshots and an explosion in the area around 2:00 PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anything.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of North Crosslane Road in reference to a complaint of an unknown individual in a white in color SUV taking picture of the complainant’s residence around 12:30 PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone in the area.

ZONE 6

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Irvin Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaged the complainant’s mailbox sometime overnight.

ZONE 7

Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence on Nunnally Farm Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual was looking through the complainant’s window sometime around 11:30 PM.

Sunday, April 5, 2020

ZONE 1

Trespassing- Three individuals were cited throughout the day in the area of Liberty Hill Church Road for fishing on location without permission.

ZONE 4

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the Gratis Store in reference to a report of an unknown motorist in white in color Ford Mustang driving recklessly on location around 3:00 PM. The motorist was gone prior to deputies’ arrival. Deputies checked the area but had no contact with the vehicle.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Sleepy Hollow Road in reference to a complainant of individuals riding ATVs in the roadway around 6:00 PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact.

ZONE 5

Suspicious Activity- Deputies responded to the area of Bullock Bridge Road in reference to a complaint of two unknown individuals going door to door claiming to be offering a Tide Laundry promotion around 2:30 PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with the individuals.

 

ZONE 4

Citation- Two individuals were cited at a residence on John Stowe Road for Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.

ZONE 5

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Powers Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a firearm sometime between April 4th and April 7th. The firearm was placed on the National Database as stolen.

ZONE 6

Arrest- Andrew Stubbs (44. Loganville) was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Claude Brewer Road for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane following a traffic stop.

ZONE 7

Theft Report- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 138 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took a firearm out of the complainant’s toolbox sometime between December 2019 and April 7th.

ZONE 4

Citation- Two individuals were cited at a residence on John Stowe Road for Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.

ZONE 5

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Powers Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a firearm sometime between April 4th and April 7th. The firearm was placed on the National Database as stolen.

ZONE 6
