WCSO Alerts: Residents find clothes, drinks, sleeping bags and firewood on their property

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. Please note an arrest or change does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 3

Arrest- Michael Heggenberger was arrested at a residence on Ash Street for Simple Battery following a dispute.

Arrest- Scott Hayes was arrested in the area of Indian Creek Road near the bridge for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects following a traffic stop.

ZONE 4

Susupicous Vehicles- Deputies responded to the area of Green Acres Subdivision in reference to an ongoing issue with speeding motorcycles in the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 5

Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence on Old Zion Cemetery Road in reference to complainant reporting an ongoing issue with an unknown male coming to their residence and asking if their spouse was home around 6:45PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Sleepy Hollow Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown male in dark clothing trying to sell windows around 7:20PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Morning Dove Court in reference to complainant reporting and unknown individual knocking on their door and shining a flashlight in their residence around 10:00PM. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with anyone.

Trespassing- Deputies took a report at a residence on Johnson Road in reference to complainant reporting they found clothes, drinks, firewood, and sleeping bags on their property belonging to an unknown individual(s).

Fraud- Deputies took a report at a business in the area of Plantation Park Drive in reference to an unknown individual cashing numerous fraudulent checks out of the business account.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of South Sharon Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual is having packages delivered to a residence in the area.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Greens Mill Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown male dressed in a blue sweat suit walking around their residence and never attempting to make contact with homeowners. The individual then left the area in a white pickup truck with several other unknown males.
