WCSO Alerts: Several early morning hours suspicious person reports

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, May 21 to Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Thursday, May 21, 2020

ZONE 3

Shoplifting- Deputies responded to the Dollar General in the area of Highway 83 in reference to 5 individuals shoplifting from the business. Deputies made contact with all individuals involved and all items were returned to the business. All individuals issued citations from Criminal Trespass.

ZONE 5

Arrest- Joshua Johnson (30, Flowery Branch) was arrested in the area of Shiloh Road for Possession of Schedule I Drugs and an outstanding felony warrant out of Clayton County following a single-vehicle accident with no reported injuries.

Firearms Complainant- Deputies responded to the area of Roscoe Davis Road in reference to a complaint of firearms being discharged in the area around 9:59 pm. Deputies made contact with the individuals and they were advised not to discharge firearms in the area for it was in an unsafe manner.

ZONE 1

Citation- A subject was cited in the area of Walnut Avenue near Walnut Grove Animal Hospital for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

ZONE 3

Arrest- Monolito Robertson (39, Athens) was arrested by Clarke County Deputies for an outstanding felony Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop. Clarke County Deputies transported Robertson to the county line and turned him over to Walton County Deputies.

Recovered Property- Deputies recovered a stolen trailer in the area of Social Circle Fairplay Road and Mount Paran Church Road following a suspicious vehicle call. The trailer was reported stolen out of Snellville. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division took the trailer into custody.

ZONE 5

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Dogwood Dell Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown explosion occurring twice in the last week between 1:00 am and 4:00 am.

Arrest- A 22-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Highway 81 for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

ZONE 6

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Gum Creek Church Road in reference to an ongoing issue with numerous vehicles and commercial vehicles speeding through the area through the day and night time hours.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Kimberly Banks (52, Conyers) was arrested in the area of Highway 138 near Carter’s Cars for Open Container, Giving False Information to Officers, and an outstanding warrant out of Fayette County following a traffic stop.

ZONE 2

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Dean Hill Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaging the complainant’s mailbox sometime overnight.

ZONE 6

Arrest- A 53-year-old Conley resident was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Cedar Ridge Road for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

Sunday, May 24, 2020

ZONE 3

Trespassing- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Highway 83 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering the complainant’s residence around 2:00 am. The complainant reported the individual claimed they were “looking for a shop”. The suspect left the residence once contact was made with the homeowner. The individual was gone prior to deputies’ arrival. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 5

Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Jennifer Springs Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual banging on the complainant’s residence and fleeing around 12:30 am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone.

ZONE 6

Arrest- A 34-year-old Grayson man was arrested at a residence on North Sharon Church Road for Loitering and Prowling following a call from a resident where Martin was at the residence hiding in the bushes around 10:20 pm.

ZONE 7

Arrest- Eli Thomas was arrested in the area of Giles Road for Burglary following an incident that originated in the City of Monroe.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Forest Hill Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took several items.

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Old Mill Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual walking around the complainant’s residence around 3:20 am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone.

Monday, May 25, 2020

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report at Angel Auto Sales on Highway 11 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took parts off a vehicle on location and damaging another vehicle sometime between mid-April and May 25th. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Arrest- A 35-year-old Covington resident was arrested in the area of San Dra Way and Bold Springs Road for Driving Under the Influence, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Open Container following a single-vehicle accident with no reported injuries.

Firearms Complaint- Deputies responded to the area of Wood Valley Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual firing a firearm in the area around 10:25 pm. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence in Richmond Place Subdivision in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took several items.

ZONE 6 

Arrest- Jackeem-Mykal Rosene (39, Fairburn) was arrested in the area of Youth Monroe Road and Highway 81 for Possession of Drugs with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule I Drugs, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

ZONE 5

Entering Auto- Deputies took several reports at different residences in the area of Richmond Place Drive and Oak View Drive in reference to an unknown individual entering numerous vehicles and taking several items sometime overnight. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incidents.

Arrest- A 23-year-old Winder resident was arrested in the area of Dewey Hogan Road for Aggravated Assault following a dispute.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaging the complainant’s vehicle.

ZONE 6

Arrest- Daniell Lewis (28, Loganville) was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and McCullers Road for two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop
